Other World 18

Third Person's POV

The young lad nodded, but the images from his dream lingered, refusing to fade. He rubbed his eyes, trying to banish the fear that still gripped him. "It felt so real," he whispered. "The world… it was in chaos. Everything was burning, and I couldn't do anything to stop it."

Alex's hand tightened on his shoulder, a steadying presence. "Nightmares have a way of playing on our deepest fears," he said. "But they are not reality, Rai. What you saw… it doesn't mean it will come to pass."

The young ladvtook a deep breath, trying to steady himself. He knew Alex was right, but the nightmare had shaken him to his core. "I saw everyone," he said quietly. "They were fighting, but the y were outnumbered. I… I couldn't help them."
