Going to Auvraneian Kingdom 6

Rai's POV

"He completed his first phase within the week, my lord. And if he continues to improve, he can be able to fight with the Dark continent's general." Xaithus said, and I froze at that moment and stared at Zeth meditating. I turned my gaze towards Xaithus with a serious face. Not only that, but I was about to say something when Callis suddenly appeared.

"I apologize for the sudden intrusion, my lord."

"What happened?" I asked.

"It seems like the Dark continent is slowly approaching towards the wall. They are trying to break the shield with brute force." Callis.

"Tell the water guardian to keep the shield from breaking apart."

"Yes, my lord." Callis.

"Also take this." I gave him the Crystal filled with my mana.

"Use this to strengthen the barrier." I said.

"Yes, my lord."

"Take Xaithus with you, he can stop time, even just for a second."

"As you wish." Callis.

"Then see you in a minute, my lord." They bowed their heads before teleporting to the beast man's sea territory.

"Where are they going?" I flinched when I saw Zeth was behind me.

"They are trying to save humanity from becoming extinct on this continent." I answered.

"That definitely will not happen. My human has the strongest ally on his side, protecting the kingdom." Zeth proudly said.

"Oh. and who could that be?" I asked, showing deep interest in it. I was a little curious about who that person was.

"It's a secret, Lucas said, not to tell anyone about it." He flew away from me. If I found it absolute that the Lustina Kingdom has the power to protect this entire continent, I might just step back and let the humans take care of everything.

"Let's go back. They might get suspicious about our sudden disappearance." I opened a portal that connects back to the place where we are currently living. As I entered the place, I heard the Crown Prince's voice calling for Zeth.

"Zeth!"

"Zeth! Where are you?!" Crown Prince.

"Dinner is ready!" Kelvhan said.

"You should go." I said.

"Aren't you going to eat dinner?" Zeth asked.

"I ate already. Go now before they dig a hole inside this shell just to find you." Zeth just nodded and used invincibility before he went out.

'Knock, knock.'

"Yes?" The door opened and Killian set foot in my room.

"*Bows head* My lord." Killian.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I received a letter from my father." He handed the letter to me. I opened the letter and read it.

'Marquess Alain is already making a move. Warn his highness and his grace.'

"We need to move fast." I went to the nearest wall and knocked three times. Khasis' pace went faster, Killian stumbled a bit, and the three went flocking inside my room.

"What's happening?" Kelvhan's face clearly showed that the sudden movement of Khasis frightened him.

"Relax, I just told Khasis to speed up a bit. We'll arrive at Auvraneian Kingdom any minute now." Khasis growled and slowed down to his speed.

"We have arrived." They looked outside the window, and the kingdom's beauty amazed them. Thousands of sea creatures are happily wandering around.

"This place is amazing." Kelvhan said in amazement. I knocked on the wall three times.

"Take us to the king." Khasis growled and led us to the palace.

"Why are there hundreds of sea mages in here?" the young duke asked.

"They are creating a barrier." Khasis growled again, and the guards cleared a path for us.

"Drink this. It will help you breathe underwater." I handed them the potion, and they drank it immediately. Khasis opened the door. I put my hood on, and we all went out.

"Welcome to Auvraneian Kingdom, your highness." The king's secretary greeted us with a warm welcome and a sea flower. The young duke wandered his eyes, and he looked like he was expecting someone to greet them.

"Thank you." Kelvhan slightly nodded his head and took the sea flower. The secretary looked me in the eye.

"And he is?" The secretary asked.

"He is also one of us, but he preferred to hide his face since he is a very sensitive person. I hope you don't mind him." The crown prince calmly explained, and the other gave me a side glance.

"I understand." He said, and the young duke quickly changed the conversation.

"But where is his majesty?"

"The king is currently busy right now." The secretary calmly said.

"I see." The Crown Prince took a glance at me and I just nodded. A merman appeared beside the king's secretary and lowered his head. I saw him glancing at me, and it gave me chills. Even without disguise, he has this immense aura that can make other people feel weak. Suddenly, the place was becoming more intense. The king's secretary cleared his throat, and the intensity dissipated.

"This is Ze- Seth. He will guide you to the guest room." The merman silently greeted us and led us inside the palace. Inside, everything was well taken care of. The statues were well-preserved for a thousand years.

The merman opened the door, and we all went inside. As I was passing by the merman, he whispered something to me.

'My lord.' I stopped in my tracks and looked him in the eye. His eyes were shining while he looked at me. He quickly lowered his head and said something.

"If you need something, please ring the bell and someone will assist you."

"I see. Thank you for your hard work." The crown prince spoke, and the merman lowered his head before closing the door. Everyone sighed and sat on the couch. I removed my hood and also sat on the couch.

"Would you like some tea, my lord?" Kelvhan asked.

"Yes." I said, and Kelvhan stood up and prepared tea and snacks. I looked outside and saw some workers rebuilding the damaged parts of the palace from the latest attack on the Dark continent.

"This place is a mess." I said, and everyone looked outside. Kelvhan poured us tea and placed the snacks on the table.

"It will take an entire year to rebuild the kingdom to its original form." Killian said.

"Is this also their doing?" The crown prince asked, and I just nodded.
