A hand on my shoulder gave me a gentle shake all too soon. I groaned and batted at it wanting to rip it apart if it touched me again. A deep chuckle startled me out of my sleep, and I jerked upright, trying to remember who I had let in my bed.
Instead of some stranger, I met Kevin’s amused brown eyes.
“Alyssa hates being woken up early in the morning as well. But I got a phone call a bit ago from your friend Lori saying you were late to work. Didn’t think you’d want to miss it entirely,” he told me with a half-grin.
“SHIT!” I exclaimed and scrambled off the bed. “Clothes! Where's my clothes?”
