You're The Boss?

Penelope was excited for her first day of work at Orchard Books. Obviously she wouldn't be given any projects right away since she would need to learn the ropes first but she was still looking forward to having a real graphic design job. 

Submitting the last of her onboarding paperwork when she arrived and getting her picture taken made her heart race with anticipation. She was actually here!

Shelly Marks, the woman she interviewed with, took her over to a group of six desks clustered together. The rest of them were already taken so it looked like she was the only newbie right now. That wasn't ideal since the rest of them were probably already on good terms with each other and she would have to try to carve a space for herself in the group. 

"Dylan here is the head of the art department. He'll be in charge of your training," Shelly said as she gestured to him. "Welcome to Orchard Books! I'm sure I'll see you around."
