Bk3: Ch– 59 Heat Medicine(pt-1)

It was a short interval for Rosa after the duel. She was sitting on a rooftop with Kaizan. Her muscles ached, but she was not going to let go of this chance of survey. Kaizan replaced the guard that stayed with Rosa a few minutes ago. She was sleepy, but the excitement was fighting against the feeling of sleep. She pulled the scarf around her to cover her exposed face from the cold air.

“Are you sure you don’t wish to take a break?” Kaizan asked as he was looking at the road in front of them.

Rosa shook her head. “I am good; the faster we are done with this, the faster we can go back to Layl.”

“You don’t seem to like the capital.” Kaizan scoffed at her.

“I don’t think you like it either.” Rosa countered back.

“It is a place that suffocates you.” He replied as his hand reached for the flask and gulped water.

He offered to Rosa, who waved her hand and denied the offer.

“I am curious why it makes you feel as such.” She noticed the rigidness around the people.
