i see potential but at the cost of a lot of work you have a hard way ahead my friend and you need more chapis for get fame make them more short first chapi was looooong pleasant but looong you can make 2 or 3 chaps with that chapi whach this as people tent to get confy whit looong chapis and imagination have a limit don´t burn yoursef to fast and abandon your proyect fast to best slow and sure than fast and short

My guess is that the unknow dna is one of 4 possibilities 1 its prothean 2 its leviathan 3 its some reaper dna 4 it is a race of the authors own creation that came before the protheans.

Having readen your other novels hp the protector i won't comment on your writing its good. What I want to express is that you have pick a setting to make a fan fic novel so as long as you look around on the web you can find all the material you need for example the weapon and that where i hope you won't make the same mistake as you did in hp which is to keep following the canon or gameplan here. For the game sake Shephard existence and experience made "sense" but in a story it's too boring and redundant only if you go outside of the repeat can you get a good usage of the mass effects universe. Give your character a fresh start, - help Shepard save the world which would end up in a failure because individuals strength is caped against a civilization except if you DragonBall the whole thing. - go directly to the Andromeda sequel after the failure - explore andromeda more than in the game - from there created YOUR story, what would you do in a space opera and a colonial ship.
