Ladies... the ultimate benefit is, invariably , death. It is the only thing he's wanted for hundreds of years and to which he stubornly holds on to now. Rayven can't die without his heart. His heart is in the hands of Lucrezia who won't give it back to him because he'll kill himself. She has promised to give it back to him if he will let it bleed. It bleeds because he cares for Angelica, and for William too. Bleeding means healing and the coming back to life of his dead black heart. So if he wants to die he has to let his heart live. That's the first irony. Since he doesn't want to go through the pain of having a living feeling bleeding heart while he has a scarred face because he wouldn't be able to take it, he's decided to take care of the face first. So here come the marriage.The benefit he seeks is getting his face back. In order to get his face back he needs to have a woman, not by force. I believe Lucrezia meant for him to lay with a woman, biblically. But I guess he thinks if he marries her then he will and that since she must've done it willingly (If she's willing to marry him she must be willing to sleep with him even if she doesn't love him) he will get his face back . Once he's done that then he'll let his heart bleed and once he gets his heart back he'll go and kill himself. That's his master plan. He's obviously clueless.

I think he just means the Benefit of getting his heart back or that he would be able to die.

Omg. I hope she finally tells him that she finds him handsome or that she feels safest with him around, like it’s the first time she can feel like she doesn’t have to look over her shoulder or solve the world’s problems (i.e her piece of garbage Father’s issues).
