They were still in the hospital when the queen had smiled and asked Ceri what she wanted to ask for. Queen Zyne's mind had not come up with what Ceri Binner would possibly ask for. She had known the girl since she was a child and Ceri had not let any two days go by without her coming into the queen's chambers to spend some time with her.

"Tell me, Ceri", Queen Zyne said with a smile on her face. She was of the opinion that Ceri had agreed to keep what she had heard her say to Ling to herself. She knew- or she thought she knew that Ceri would not give her away- especially to her son, Sek. Queen Zyne could not afford Sek to find out what she had done. She knew how upright her son could be, and could not imagine what would happen to their relationship if he ever got to know.
