Anthony's Journey Back

As Anthony left the Predor Kingdom with the person that King Yianni had assigned to accompany him to meet Princess Ruby, his mind was filled with unsettling thoughts. Anthony was absentminded throughout the journey, even when they had to stop for the first night during the journey, he behaved slowly.

"Are you alright, Mr. Anthony?", Veni asked. Bedo had told him all about what had happened and he could understand what the man was going through right now. 

Anthony did not answer him because he hadn't even heard when the man spoke. He kept on spreading the material that he would lay down on to rest his heavy head.

[What will the princess think?], Anthony thought. He had never disappointed Princess Ruby before and he felt really bad about this happening.

"It is not your fault, sir", Veni said again. He was just trying to cheer Anthony up.

This time, Anthony had heard what the man had said. He stared at him with his eye wide open.
