[ Chapter I: "Ned, That... Guy." ]

[ Volume I: "Game Entertainment System." ]

[23:59] [December 1, 2023 AD]

[New York City, Marvel Universe]

An Chubby Young Teenager could be seen browsing the most Famous Gamestore of the World Wide Web; inside one of the many Apartments of New York City.

Unfortunately he is very bored, scrolling down through the Playstore's many, many, many redundant; reskinned games through his Laptop, an hand-me-down gifted to him by his Cousin in the Philippines.

And currently he is scrolling the Internet trying to find an interesting game he could download, but sadly, everything, every Game he could see are just Old Games; or if they aren't Ancient then they are just Patriotic Games about America, there is no in between.

Like a Game about Captain America shooting Nazi Germany Soldiers; that sounded good but no, it really isn't, especially if they are just reskinned games with bad texture from 20 years back.

There are also Good Games, in this World standards they are. But they're all either pay to win, or will cost you an arm and an leg. And for Ned, an ordinary 17 year old High Schooler it's just not really that practical, especially if you've just bought an Lego Death Star using your savings.

Ned, he gave up on trying to find an underrated gem on the playstore's many, many selections, I mean, it's not like his Laptop's memory could take anymore Games. Not with it's measly 64GB Storage filled with other Games; the pay to win kind that he had no choice but to download, if he didn't he'll just die out of boredom.

But before Ned could close his Laptop for the day an App caught his attention, and App on his peripheral vision with the word "UTOPIA" writen in front of an digitalized Earth overshadowing it, and the meaning of UTOPIA written under it; which is so small that Ned had to click the Icon of the Image to read it.

The word "OASIS" and the Acronym of it "Unveiling The Oasis: Playful Interactions Await." caught Ned's attention and, so he went back and read it's short description writen besides the Image Icon.

["Discover 'U.T.O.P.I.A.': Unveiling The OASIS, where playful interactions await in a digital realm of endless possibilities. Embark on a journey filled with excitement and curiosity, connecting with fellow adventurers in a landscape of creativity."]

"Woah..." Ned read all of that, the description in his head like it's being read out to you in an trailer of an Michael Bay Movie, and yeah it sounded fantastic more to him than you, so instantly he clicked the Download Button; which is besides the Description, and the Description being beside the Image Icon, you get the idea.

And then... The App/Game was instantly downloaded, which dropped Ned's excitement from 200% to 50%, I mean, that's still 50% but that's 1/4 of what excitement Ned felt seconds ago.

Why? We'll because it clicked to Ned that it might be an Virus, Virus are oftentimes connected to Apps that may or may not sound like it's good to be true, especially if that said App/Game is free, and only cost what, 1MB?

So it's not unexpected that Ned's excitement dropped, but he is still interested about this "Virus" attached App/Game, so without anything to do he clicked Download on the File and waits for the "Confirm Download Button" that normally pops soon after, oftentimes with interesting description like "FULL CONTROL OVER YOUR COMPUTER" or something something occasionally along those lines.

But no, no one came, nothing actually happened even when Ned clicked the file multiple times; he couldn't see anything happening, no nothing.

That was what he thought, but he was suddenly sucked by his own Laptop, the Soul at least with the Body still being there, motionless as it flops and hits it's head on the Laptop's Keyboard's with a thud.

On the other hand, Ned could be seen falling through an very colorful rainbow dropper; space themed, as he screams on top of his lungs "AGHHHHHHHHHH!!!" that's how it sounds with the occasional "PLEASE" "GOD/HELP" sprinkled on top of it, with Ned closing his eyes and not feeling dizzy for some unthinkable reason.

[Player One: "Edward "Ned" Leeds." (Marvel)]

[Welcome to U.T.O.P.I.A]

"W-what?!" An mechanical robotic voice of an female secretary-like voice spoke inside Ned's head, no, not the "W-what?!" bit but instead the "Welcome to U.T.O.P.I.A" and the "Player One" bit; which confused Ned and made him stop praying, literally, and made him open his eyes wide.

"O-oh GOD! H-HELP!!!" Ned Leeds could see the ground, the stone paved ground a hundread of feet away from his face, with him falling of course head first.

So in panic Ned tries to swim up ward, even though he doesn't know how to swim, he at least tried, and it look funny; of course the attempt to swim upward didn't work and Ned fell onto the ground, not with an thud thankfully, but with him standing upright falling on his legs.

"AGHHHHHHHH!" He with his eyes closed kept screaming waiting for his impending death, his life literally flashing before him as he tries to remember his life, not remembering much, and with him feeling the breeze of cold air realizing something.

"Wait a minute..." Ned realized something, he didn't felt anything, not him splattering on the pavement like some Garry's Mod character with some Mod attached to them to make them gutsier, and especially not any pain of the said act which actually made him to open one of his eyes in confusion.

And notices a hundreads of Bubbly Head-like folks with Green Skin with varying degrees of Hair and Appearance looking at him.

One Drinking Coffee with the Mug saying "I ♡ Brainz", another wearing an Medieval Jester outfit juggling red balls, was juggling as the said balls fell onto his head one by one, and another in an Black Suit holding an Briefcase. All and more of those said folks looks at him with bulging eyes in confusion.

As Spiderman's Guy in the Chair, a.k.a Ned Leeds from the Marvel Verse equally looks at them in confusion, with sweat dripping on the side of his head. "What the hell is happening?"
