I was reminded of Julie's fake father due to the eye patch mentioned in his description; he might be a descendant of the first or 2nd generation of hunters who were involved in the massacre in Veteris in 1874; that includes Simon's parents. There was this particular hunter named Lloyd as I recalled who also had an eye patch on him when he was killed in this massacre. So from whom had Douglas Leighton collected this info about the dark stone in Rome and also Julie's existing whereabouts in Veteris? 😳👀 He's really sworn to keep his vow in destroying Julie's life. Now this is getting more dang clusterf*** than before.

How did he find out she is from La Fay‘s blood line and that she is in Veteris? Did her uncle spill that to him? Did Thomas know that she is from La Fay? They all don‘t know that the dark stone already exists… and yeah, just go ahead to Veteris and loose your ability 🙃 I don‘t mind about that.

Theres some weird stuff going in here. Of course Douglas would show up at just the "right" time. He seems to know a lot about Julie's lineage, was he just pretending to be ignorant or did Natalie accidentally leave some clues behind that he was able to find? And what's with the eyepatch? I hope Roman recovers soon, hes got another being to deal with now.
