Next Trial

Lucius looked up as he noticed the appearance of Lucifer levitating in front of him. He had just finished optimising the rune of information transmitting. 

"You did well, Lucius!" Lucifer spoke to him first with a slight smile on his face. 

"I passed the trial? But I didn't even read all the books." Lucius spoke with genuine confusion. 

"You didn't need to. This was the trial of Gluttony, he had simply made this trial to see the extent of your ability to control your divine soul embryo and mind affinity. You passed when you learned the first two runes but he deemed to let you finish learning the third one too." Lucifer answered Lucius' apparent questions. 

"Oh, so it was good that I stopped focusing on the books and gave it my all to improve my idea. You say he deemed it so but aren't you the ruler of hell, couldn't you have decided ?" Lucius then asked.
