Action Reaction Force

"What did you do?" General Luis shouted at Daryl who was frowning in anxiety.

"I did what I could for my fellow soldiers," Daryl answered, but the General wasn't satisfied with the answer.

"You just kidnapped a child, A CHILD! Do you know how many laws you are breaking?" General Luis screamt back, pointing at Ryan who was still shaken up.

"But it is my mission to help injured soldiers, no matter the price!" Daryl said back. General Luis felt his blood boil when he heard this.

"This is a civilian! We do not sacrifice civilian lives so that we can help soldiers! That is not the military and the soldiers know about it!" General Luis shouted back.

"But these seven soldiers are the very best the country has and sacrificing one civilian life just so that they can get well is just the price to pay. I don't see anything wrong with it," Daryl argued back, but General Luis tried to slap him, making Daryl catch his hand.

"Daryl, let go of my hand, right now!" General Luis ordered him and Daryl obeyed, but he had a frown on his face

"What I did, would it be considered wrong?"

"Is that a question, Daryl? I thought you were smart, guess you were just faking it!" General Luis said then turned to one scientist. "Release the boy and take him to his mother. Make sure she is warned not to speak of this, ever!"

"Nobody move!" Daryl ordered everyone, making them all freeze. "I believe the boy is the key to making super soldier and my team of seven will be the first batch of sdierw to be on the receiving end! My directive as a soldier is to make this country strong and super soldiers will help it greatly. Taking away the boy will make decoding the Compound V even harder!"

"Perhaps you didn't listen to me, I said I want the boy gone. This is why I always want a human to be with you always, you don't understand humanity," General Luis groaned then turned to the scientists. "Take the boy..." The General was suddenly cut in half by blue lasers, making everyone in there to back away as they looked at Daryl with fear filled eyes.

"My lack of humanity is what makes me a perfect soldier. No decisions are too hard to make!" Daryl told the half corpse of the general before turning to the scientists. "Looks like I gave you too much credit. I thought you would all be excited to decode the Compound V, but it seems you needed the authorization of General Luis to do so. He is dead, I am in command now. So, do your bloody job because those who hesitate will get lasered in half!" The scientists nodded quickly and led the stupefied Ryan back to his cell.

Ryan came to when they were half way and his fight or flight instincts kicked in. He yanked his left hand from one of them, making the poor man fly away with a terrified scream. Then, his eyes turned red and lasered the others. Now free, he was about to run away when a heavy fist landed on his head, making him crash on the floor with such force the building shook.

"You are becoming stronger since you awakened your powers! That means you will be a very good specimen, hardy enough to take what we throw at you," Daryl said before punching him on the back again, making Ryan scream out in pain before becoming unconscious. Daryl looked at the bodies on the floor and shook his head before picking up Ryan and carrying him to his cell. He then went to a computer before hacking into Vought. He went to the records of former employees, especially doctors and that's when he saw one that made him smile.

"Dr. Jonah Vogelbaum, I pick you," he said, quickly noted down the address and sped off, leaving behind a blue blur. Once he was out of the facility, he took to the sky, flying at Mach 3 and he reached the place moments. He owned softly in front of the front door. Without waiting for it to be opened, he got hold of the handle and ripped it off its hinges, threw it away and got in. There was a woman waiting for him, a gun in hand.

"Wait, please, we don't have any money!" she cried out but Daryl wasn't in the talking mood as he appeared in front of her, gave a back hand slap that threw her across the corridor, unconscious. Daryl walked in to the restroom where he saw Dr. Jonah holding a shot gun to his chin, ready to kill himself. When he saw Daryl, he was puzzled.

"You're not who I was expecting," he said with a frown.

"No, but I do need you alive, much like the other person if your first instinct is to kill yourself," Daryl said, speeding next to him and yanking the gun off his hands, broke it in two then threw it away. Daryl then pushed the doctor to his chair.

"I am here to know if you were there in the production of Homelander," Daryl said as he took a seat too. The doctor was still shocked by the show of strength and speed Daryl showed.

"Are you a clone of Homelander?" he asked as if betrayed.

"No, I am a different species altogether," Daryl answered him. This made th doctor even more interested and he was going to question him more but Daryl shut him up. "Just answer my first question, doctor or you will realize how much impatient I am right now." The doctor shuddered before sitting back.

"Yes, I was involved in his creation. He is my biggest creation yet my greatest failure," the doctor answered.

"Good, how do you feel about going at it again?" Daryl asked, making the doctor more puzzled.

"what do you mean?" he asked.

"I have the son of Homelander with me. I just want you to help me use his blood to save my soldiers and you can do anything you want with him!" Daryl told him. The doctor was momentarily stunned by this news before his face grew resolute.

"Another chance recreate my biggest creation, how can I miss it!" he exclaimed with finality, his eyes showing his grit. Daryl smiled when he saw this.

"Good, wear something for the cold, I will fly us there immediately," Daryl said with a smile. The doctor was going upstairs when he saw his daughter unconscious in the ground. His eyes became fierce before looking at Daryl then the fierceness disappeared as he picked her up with difficulty and carried her to the couch. Daryl didn't even consider it as anything special and put it at the back of his head. The doctor wore a winter jacket and signalled Daryl he was ready so Daryl picked him up and flew away.

"He does look like him!" the doctor said as he touched Ryan's face. The boy was still unconscious after those two punches. He then looked at Daryl who was standing at the doorway like a watchdog. "You said he was becoming stronger, I need needles that can pierce through his skin and his bones to get the bone marrow!"

"Everything you need is right here, doc. They never changed them since I was four, that's when everything they tried stopped piercing through my skin," Daryl answered. The doctor nodded and started looking around. He found a syringe for blood letting, disinfectant and some cotton wool. He first took Ryan's blood then he started studying it. He was fascinated by what he was seeing that he momentarily forgot himself to the research.

Three days passed like that and the doctor finally caught his break. He was surprised when he didn't see Daryl so he looked around and found him in the ward where seven patients were recovering. He was looking at them fondly, like one looks at a family member.

"The six of them were my family, they took care of me as I grew up. Most children in my position would not get to have fun and things like that but they did their best to make sure I was always happy. They were my parents, people I looked up to even though I had the strength to break mountains with one hand. I swore to myself I would become the perfect soldier and it clicked! It was as if that was what I was born, made to be, the most perfect soldier!" Daryl told him. The doctor looked at the patients for a while before turning to him.

"They are the ones you want to save?" he asked.

"Yes. So, did you find anything that can help?"

"Actually, I did. But for it to happen, I need to have a few things. I made a list, if you can get them for me I will begin the procedure to helping them wake up," the doctor answered and gave him a piece of paper. Daryl took it and read the contents.

"So you want me to fly across the globe and find these plants, huh? If I didn't know any better, I would think you want me out of here," Daryl laughed as he got up. The doctor chuckled nervously as he tried to shirk away from Daryl but what happened next almost gave him a heart attack. Daryl got hold of him behind his neck, applying minimum pressure but the old man felt like his neck would be crushed.

"Do not fuck with me, doc. These things better be useful or else I will find your family and tear them to pieces in front of your eyes. That is a threat and a promise!" Daryl growled before throwing the old man to the ground and walked away.

Hearing the sound of Daryl breaking the sound barrier, Jonah jogged to where Ryan was been kept and opened the door, but Ryan shrank away from him.

"I am sorry for the ordeal that you are going through. I am here to help you," the doctor said but Ryan was still scared of him. "Do you know who your father is? (Ryan shakes head.) He is Homelander! I can be considered as Homelander's father, so I am your grandfather. I was there when you were born and I helped your mother so that she didn't die when she was doing so. You were the greatest miracle since Homelander and I won't let the bad man hurt you again." Ryan looked at him with growing trust before he nodded and Jonah led him to the lab where he immediately skyped Madeline.

"Doctor, I thought you were kidnapped!" she said.

"I was, but my kidnapper is gone. I have Ryan Butcher with me, just letting you know and I don't think anyone else can fight my captor except Homelander. Send him to my location before he comes back and tears me apart!" Just then, the whole building went into alarm.

"General Luis Cavill has not reported to base for seventy two hours. Base going to defense mode against Kryptonian Daryl! Calculating, Kryptonian not found in base, base lying in wait!" The alarms then died as if it didn't just happen.

"What's going on?" Madeline asked.

"I don't know, but I will find out. Hurry up and send the brat to me, now!" the doctor said and hang up. He then went to the computer as he started searching for the key word Kryptonian. He had to hack even more harder until he found the file.

Kryptonian

This is the race that the alien baby now named Daryl is from. Their language is very difficult but with some spoon-fed clues to the alien, we could decipher it. Apparently, the alien would recognize the words without having learnt the language. We came to know Krypton is a planet millions of light-years away from our planet and that makes his spaceship the defining clue to faster than light travel to outspace but the ship is none responsive to anyone but the alien.

We did find out that the alien is born to be the perfect soldier to their race and his comparison is with another soldier they named Zod, apparently a great soldier too. The alien was supposed to lead a new generation of Kryptonians but his spaceship seemed to have lost control and he ended up to Earth. With this information, we can conclude that the alien will make the best soldier and having tasked him to General Luis to train the most powerful soldier in existence was not a mistake. Krypton gave us a gift and we will use that gift to protect Earth because we have come to know that extra terrestrial life might exist and if it is as powerful as Kryptonians, Earth has no chance even with Supers.

"Oh my God!" the doctor exclaimed as he realised just how in danger he was. With this knowledge, leave alone Daryl, the whole government will be after him! Vought can't save him from the full might of both! He turned to Ryan and saw the boy in shock too and he realised that he just put himself on the executioner's block too. Just when he was about to pull the boy away, the ceiling caved in and there landed Homelander and Maeve.

"Breaking into a government secret base, this is quite a day," Homelander said then looked at Vogelbaum. "You got to be shitting me! Are you then one I am supposed to save?"

"We need to leave now!" Vogelbaum cried out but Homelander was not having any of it.

"No no no, you can save yourself, I don't care if Vought wants you alive!" he refused vehemently.

"This is your son!" Vogelbaum cried out as a last ditch effort. Homelander and Maeve were caught off guard due to this. Homelander looked at Ryan who was looking back at him, expectantly but shook his head.

"That's not possible. You told me..."

"I know what I said but this is very much possible. Do you remember Rebecca Butcher, the beautiful Vought marketing manager you raped all those years ago? Apparently, she conceived a child and Ryan here is the by product." Ryan didn't know the meaning of rape so he was still looking at Homelander with expectation while the man in question was looking at him with horror.

"I didn't...I didn't know!" he said, holding his mouth.

"We need to get out of here before..."

"Before what, doc?" Daryl asked as he floated into the base through the hole Homelander made. The doctor felt his heart skip a beat as Ryan ran and hid behind Homelander. "You must think I am very stupid? I never expected any less from you but I have to say, your research will help me much. I knew what you are the moment I read your file and I knew what you would do. But, I also know what you are, a mad scientist who marvel at experiments. With your work, I can come up with a way to heal my team and with yours and the boy's usefulness at end, I will have to kill you so that Vought doesn't get what you know."

"Buddy, do you see a Homelander made of cardboard standing in front of you?" Homelander shouted at him, making Daryl turn to look at him.

"I saw you, I just ignored you," Daryl answered then looked at the doctor but then saw the page they were reading in the computer. He sped in front of it, super read it then turned to the now scared to death doctor.

"Do you know what you just did? You just signed your death warranty that Queen Maeve there was going to save you from!" he said and broke the computer in anger. Before the doctor could say anything, Daryl slapped him so hard half his body just exploded. Daryl turned to the three remaining, his eyes cold.

"I can't let you leave with this knowledge!" he growled, his eyes glowing blue.

"Kryptonian detected, base going to offense!" the heard a computerised voice say and the next moment, Homelander, Ryan and Daryl were clutching their ears, screaming in pain. Maeve was surprised by this as she couldn't hear the high frequency sound they were been subjected to. She then went next to Daryl and started raining blows on him, blows strong enough to shake the building as he slowly made a crater.

Daryl was taught how to control his sense since young, but mostly by his instincts. So, when he felt someone punching him, he was already working on overcoming this roadblock. He did this by punching the ground with all he got, momentarily forgetting about his team. The punch produced a shockwave that swept everything and everyone away and the base seemed like it exploded from the inside. When the dust settled, the only ones who were still okay we're Maeve, Daryl and Homelander. Ryan had gone back to becoming unconscious beside his father.

"Sorry about that. Now, where were we?" Daryl exclaimed as he got up. That's when he remembered his team and he turned to the direction they were. He sped to the direction and started removing the rubble. There, he saw the seven mashed corpses and he immediately felt something break in his mind.

"You did this!" he said, clenching his fists harder. He turned and looked straight at Homelander. "You caused this!"

"I'm not the one who had the brilliant idea to punc the ground!" Homelander excused himself.

"They were put to this team because the government recognized you as a threat! I was raised to kill you! You were the end game and they would go home, I would go home!" Daryl said and was about to attack when they all heard a helicopter approaching. They all looked up and saw a chopper with the seal of the president. The doors were opened and there he stood, a megaphone in his hand.

"Daryl, I would like to know what you did to General Luis!" the president shouted.

"I killed him for his incompetence. He raised me to be a soldier but he was preaching to me like a civilian!" Daryl answered back. The president looked at him with a frown then sighed.

"I am sorry Daryl, but you leave me no other choice. From now hence you do not speak for the United States army and any action you make will be your own!" the President said and the chopper flew off. Daryl was shocked by this outcome and he felt lost.

"That means as a hero, I can kick your ass if you try and act!" Homelander said smugly before he carried Maeve and Ryan away. They left behind Daryl who was on his knees, tears running down his cheeks, his whole aura depressing.
