Ari was already sitting at the table by herself with a bag with the Taco Bell sign in her hands. I rushed over to her, smiling at her appearance. She didn't look tired, but her eyes brightened with happiness as she smiled and her hair in a messy bun like she rushed to school this morning. "Hola, Sister." She grinned at me as she handed me a taco.

I snatched it from her grasp and smiled at her. "You are amazing."

"Tell me something I don't know." She rolled her eyes.

I took a bite and moaned as the heavenly sweetness flooded my taste buds. "So what happened that made you buy me the ultimate food?"

She took another thing out of the bag and handed me a blueberry Pop-tart. "Do I need a reason to treat my best friend out?"

I swallowed. "Not exactly. I only want to be sure this is not one of your ways to manipulate me into going somewhere with you."

She laughed. "Eat up, would you? It's my way of showing my love to you."
