Even with Araksia's corpse frying on the floor under his feet, Desmond felt nothing. Murdering the woman he had been sharing a bed with for weeks was no problem for him, not after everything that had happened.

Though he might sound cruel and heartless, especially after having manipulated and used her the way he had, Desmond never considered leaving Araksia alive, not after seeing firsthand what kind of person she was.
