Arena Thirty-Seven: Abomination IV

For some reason, all of these evolved monsters had a second phase... which made the current situation extremely worse.

The guy, or the creature, or whatever it was, had evolved quite magnificently. Its outer appearance didn't change, but the aura I felt from it had gone up quite a lot.

It also looked almost sentient, judging by the way it was glaring at me while snickering eerily. It took a step forward, and a crater immediately formed under its feet. Cracks spread through the ground and the walls as the entire building trembled.

And here I was, barely standing, fully depleted. My SP had fallen to a measly 2000, and while I had around 70% of my DEF and all of my HP, those would amount to nothing when facing the demon in front of me.

And it understood there clearly. Its demeanour from before had changed completely, exchanging its defensive and almost cautious stance with an aggressive one.
