-1- The girl.

Ambulance sirens could be heard in the distance, as well as constant murmurs...

"Look what she did! This girl is crazy, she must be stopped!"

"Did you see that brute force? I value my life, thank you!"

"Oh my God, I hope they're still alive..."

The girl stood there in the middle of the courtyard. Around her were other teenagers, the same age. Covered in blood, lying on the ground, they were moaning in pain.

"Nobody can hurt me!" said the girl. "Do you understand?!"

She wiped some blood from her face, and began to smile.

"Monster..."

She turned her head to her right, and looked at the person who had whispered that word.

"What is this? You want to fight too?"

The teenager who had said that stepped back, while shaking his head.

"What a coward," said the girl. "Just like them. And to think they tried to attack me behind my back."

She smiled again. But the look on her face was desperate.

It was then that she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned, ready to strike, but suddenly froze.

"Vallia... What have you done?" said the young woman in front of her.

"It wasn't my fault! It was theirs. They picked a fight... it wasn't me."

Her teacher frowned, a pained expression on her face.

"You promised."

"Oh no," thought Vallia.

"She looks so angry... I didn't want her to see me like this."

She looked down. But instead of reprimanding her, the woman wrapped her arms around her and gave her a hug.

And the girl began to cry.
