8 Unexpected Request

The bartender showed a smile and then gestured for her to the side. Another man had appeared from the chairs and bowed down to her.

"Miss, please follow us."

"Thank you."

Yu Yan left the money on the desk and the bartender took it. The sentences Yu Yan said just now were code word that only some people who lived in the underworld or at least have dealings with them should know.

Just from appearance alone, Yu Yan didn't look like one.

Low voice greeted them. Yu Yan was nervous but she took a deep breath and stepped into the room. The servant who brought her didn't follow her and closed the door once she had walked inside.

The room had dim light but it was a luxurious room. There were several sofas placed to form a square and a table in the middle of the four sofas. A man was sitting at the middle of one of the sofa. He was wearing black glasses while his long hair was combed to the back neatly but still covered his face partially. She couldn't see his countenance clearly, but he had sexy nose and mouth. At the same time, just his presence alone seemed to be demanding attention to everyone who looked in his direction.

There were a few people standing guards near him. From the way it looked like, the man sitting in the middle must have an important position.

"Do you know who we are?" The man in the middle asked. He raised his head faintly and looked at Yu Yan deeply.

However, as his eyes landed on her bruises, anger started brewing within his eyes. Thanks to the black glasses, no one could see it but the nearest guard to Long Ying began to feel chills on his back.

The man looked at Yu Yan. "Name of the mine and the family you want to be destroyed."

Yu Yan was silent for a while. "Mine AC at the edge or City A and… Yu Family."

Silence.

After a while the man shook his head. "It's not a profitable mine and certainly, Yu Family worth much more."

Well, that was true. Her mother and her sister had the share for the second mine, the one that was more profitable. Just 1 percent of that mine was already more than what she got from the first mine.

"Then…"

"I want another thing from you, Miss Yu."

"Yes?" Yu Yan tensed up. She hadn't even introduced herself yet they already knew who she was. Did they already do background check even before she entered this room?

The man chuckled. "I want you."
