1 The Cheating Scum

"What a tiring day."

Walking to the front of her door apartment, Yu Yan smothered her hair. Her pale brown eyes scanned the lock as she took her card and scanned it. As she opened the door, her eyes spotted a pair of shoes belonging to a man. Her lips curled up.

'Did Bao Tu come back to give me a surprise?'

Her boyfriend, Bao Tu, was a businessman. Yu Yan had been dating with him for a few months and she always felt that he was quite the pushy type. Every time they met, he would demand for her to stay with him longer. She did feel a bit overwhelmed at first, but then she had gotten used to it.

The thought just made Yu Yan giddy. She didn't live with him but Bao Tu could come to visit her because she had given him the key to her apartment.

They hadn't done anything much, though. Well, except for holding hands and also dating to some places.

"Bao Tu?" Yu Yan called as she took off her shoes and walked inside. As she entered the living room, she noticed that the light was off there. Her brows furrowed when she heard the sound of gasping of breath from the bedroom.

She turned her head to look at the bedroom and slowly made her way there.

"Bao…" Her voice was cut in the middle because what she saw was not one person but two people. The two of them were intertwined on the bed as the sound of moaning and gasping for breath could be heard clearly.

"More…"

"Aaah!"

Yu Yan felt that her ear had been contaminated as she felt utter disgust just from the thought of seeing this scene. She was about to explode in anger when she heard Bao Tu calling the woman in his arm.

"Xin'er… Yu Xin…"

Yu Xin.

What a familiar name.

At that moment, Yu Yan felt as if the entire world came crashing down. All of her hope and feelings were shattered to pieces.

Yu Xin, her younger sister, who was known as a talented woman with no one to compare. Or at least, that was what her family was thinking. And now, this very same talented woman was the one who was making love with her, Yu Yan's, boyfriend on her apartment.

What a good sister!

Yu Yan felt her blood turned cold. She slowly walked to the bathroom that was located outside the bedroom. The heater was turned on, so she simply filled the bucket she had there with the hot water. As she watched the water streamed down, she could clearly felt that all of her feelings for Bao Tu was being washed away just like the water.

Second time.

This is already the second time her sister took her boyfriend.

When the water was full, Yu Yan put the shower away then walked to the bedroom. She walked hurriedly while being careful to not scald herself. By now, she no longer cared for the fact that her bathroom would be flooded with water.

Pushing the door to the bedroom open, Yu Yan saw that the cheating couple was still on her bed. She walked to their side, ignoring her utter disgust and shattered heart as she raised the heavy bucket and poured down on both of them.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

"GAAAAAAAAA!"

The scorching hot water scalded both the man and the woman. Yu Xin screamed while holding her face in despair. "My face! My face!"

Yu Yan was staring at them coldly while looking at Bao Tu, who was also trying to wipe the water away. Of course, she had to make sure to pay them kindly by splashing the hot water to their faces.

After all, she seduced her boyfriend with her face. So her face should be the first one that Yu Yan destroyed.

"What are you doing?" Bao Tu yelled angrily, punching his assailant in instinct while Yu Yan could barely evade as his punch landed on her face. Yu Yan staggered back, trying her best to still stand straight as she looked at her boyfriend. He looked at Yu Yan with hatred and anger, gazes that Yu Yan felt unfamiliar with.

Her face hurt from the punch.

But her heart was shattering to pieces when she saw that he didn't even have any guilt nor remorse.

Yu Yan stared back at him coldly. "Shouldn't I be the one to ask you that question Bao Tu? Whose boyfriend are you?!"

"B*tch!" Yu Xin didn't let Bao Tu answer as she was so consumed with rage. Her face! Her face that she was so proud of was now scorched.

Swish!

Evading the hand was easy for Yu Yan as she grasped Yu Xin's thin hand tightly. Her eyes were looking at the young woman coldly. "Mind telling me what you're doing here, Sister?"

"You ruined my face!" Yu Xin screamed in despair.

Bao Tu looked alarmed. Without thinking, he rushed forward to release Yu Xin and tucked her away while pushing Yu Yan to the back. His movement when he was taking care of Yu Xin was extremely careful as if he was holding a treasure. "We're going to the doctor! I'll make sure that there won't be any scar!"

Yu Xin was crying buckets while Bao Tu was trying to soothe her. He took his phone and immediately called in domineering voice. "Get me a doctor to Apartment Bungalow F no. 406!"

On the floor, Yu Yan looked at the cheating pair as she let out a loud laugh. The push just now caused her to fall and her back ached, but she couldn't feel the pain when she saw how these two behaved in front of her.

Her eyes glinted with ruthlessness as she looked at the two of them. "Good, very good, Bao Tu. Now I finally understand what you mean by loving someone is to throw them away and cheat with that person's sister!"

"You shut up!" Bao Tu screamed and rushed over to Yu Yan. His body reacted in his anger as he kicked the young woman, not showing any care for the fairer gender in the slightest bit.

At that time, it didn't seem that he was thinking of the woman on the floor as his former girlfriend at all.

*cough*

Yu Yan held her stomach as she struggled. Looking at the two of them, she no longer had any interest because their naked body only made her felt nausea. To think that she was dating such a scum like this…

She must have been blind!

There were no tears in her eyes and only blazing hatred was visible. She laughed despite her pain. "Indeed, you're such a scum. I wish you two happiness, you cheating couple!"

Her voice was neither loud nor small. The apartment was not a rich one that was capable to withhold all the voice. The neighbors must have heard what she said as she could faintly hear the ruckus outside.

A mocking smile formed on the corner of her lips as Yu Yan walked out of the room.

"You B*tch! You're going to pay for this!"

"$%^&*(!"

There were series of curses that Yu Yan heard but she no longer cared about it. She only felt at loss and the apartment where she had been living so far turned into a place where she didn't even want to step even a second longer.

Walking aimlessly, Yu Yan didn't know how to, but she managed to reach the other street. Her hand dug into her purse and took out her phone.

Who should she call?

After scrolling the name for a while, she saw Feng Mian's name. Feng Mian is her best friend whom she met in her workplace. While Feng Mian was a few years younger than her, she knew that her best friend could be trusted.

Slowly, she pressed Feng Mian's name.

Du du du! Click!

"Hello, Yu Yan?"

"Feng Mian…." Hearing the concerned voice of her best friend, Yu Yan felt that all of her emotions that she had been holding back all this time came into free fall at this point of time. She couldn't stop herself as she began to sob uncontrollably. "Feng Mian, help me…."

Sitting at the dark corner of an alleyway, she had no one to rely on and could only cry helplessly.

What she didn't know was that there was a car parked not far from there. A man dressed in black clothes was sitting inside. It was hard to see his countenance in the dark, but the silver pupil could be seen when light flashed for a split second.

"Boss, we have already settled the matter," A man reported.

"Wait."

"Boss?" The man was confused. It was then he noticed the woman who was sobbing uncontrollably at the alleyway. He was stunned. Didn't his Boss always stay away from women?

The man with silver eyes were merely staring and didn't move from his position. It was to the point that his subordinate got impatient. "Boss, if you truly want her, you can just head there and comfort her."

"No."

"Boss?!"

The man didn't explain any further. He was merely watching the woman with his silver eyes. How badly he wanted to head over there to coax her was something that no one would understand. However, the two of them had not met with each other for years, would she still even remember him?

Right now, the person whom she needed the most would be her best friend who could coax her and not him.
