2 My first day

When we arrived at the gates of Shau Kingdom, we waited in line to receive permission to enter inside the great kingdom. The kingdom is known for its various foods and combat training. We waited in line for hours as guards searched everyone In the group looking for mysterious belongings. When we gained permission to pass the gates Emily looked at me with her eyes glowing bright and I gave her a faint smile, giving her assurance that everything is okay. We walked around the kingdom square as the slavers asked for directions to the slave auctioning. When we finally got to the destination the slavers and some others removed the chains on our hands and forced us to stand in a line, facing away from the other slaves. Me and Emily stayed their whispering to each other as people were busy marketing slaves.

I almost felt like nobody wanted to buy me which made me happy in a way. hours passed of total boredom and regret. Later on i heard trumpets at a far distance as a man and women in crowns and long beautifully decorated coats approached accompanied by heavily armored soldiers. As they got closer the soldiers started surrounding the area. Slavers and people around quickly knelt and greeted them. Which gave me a hint that they were royalty, maybe the king and queen. The king looked at us slaves and called a soldier and pointed at us. immediately soldiers started to beat everyone to their knees causing a big commotion as people tried to protect themselves. I noticed what was happening and grabbed Emily's hand before soldiers could get to us and we ran. The soldiers chased us and took me and Emily to the ground. The king noticed what was happening and got of his horse and walked towards us with the queen closely behind. The king welcomed me and Emily to his kingdom telling the soldiers to let us be. Emily quickly knelt down and hit me to follow her. I knelt beside Emily as she begged for the kings forgiveness and I also joined in begging him for mercy.

The king told us not to worry that all is forgiven. He then told us to follow him with 3 other chosen children slaves ordering soldiers to line us up, throwing a huge amount of gold at the feet of the slavers. We followed the king and queen passing shops with different types of items and restaurants that made me drool like a starved dog. The king noticed this and bought food for us. When we finished the delicacy we walked to the destination. As we were passing people knelt down greeting the king and queen. When we reached a large camp outside of the populated area we stopped. The king got of the horse and began to talk. Giving us a speech that I was to tired to listen to but forced myself to. He told us that we are here to train and become great warrior's for this kingdom, that will protect the royal family in secret. The king said that the weak will die, but if u are strong enough to survive u will be honored soldiers. The king then called a soldier that would be training us and told him to work hard. Then he got on his horse and left followed by his wife and half of the soldiers. The man the king talked to marched in front of us and lead us to a huge hall were many other children stayed. More than 100 children were sitting or laying on hay stacked beds. When we walked in all of them stood up in unison and stood at ease. The soldier greeted them then turned towards us and put his left hand behind his back and the right on the chest. he welcomed us to the kingdom, telling us that we are here to train and become outstanding warrior's and wizards. He put his hands beside him and loosened up a bit. He then told us that he is a master swordsman and will be teaching us hand to hand and weapon combat. And those who have a infinity to magic will also be training with a master sorcerer. he then pointed to the left corner of the hall were food was and said that we should eat now and sleep, that first thing tomorrow is training, that is all he said then he left leaving the 5 of us alone with the other kids. We walked to a empty spot able to fit all of us and sat down In a circle so we could look at each other. everyone looked like they wanted to cry and I couldn't blame them because I had tears dripping down my face already. I bent my head down and stayed quiet thinking of the next possible step. Emily noticed my mood and took my hand and drew herself closer to me and rested her head on my shoulder. When I tried to close my eyes I heard a loud voice saying hey boy your gonna die if u keep behaving like this, Find some inspiration and give it to your fellow comrades. Looking left and right to find where the voice was coming from I then remembered that God and Devil relocated inside of me. And the thought gave a horrible slap to the subconscious me. I sighed in my head and asked God what does he want me to do, I'm like this because of u and Devil... Like seriously how worse could this get. The Devil replied angrily telling me to shut my mouth. That I should not blame it on them but on their traitorous subjects. When I tried to start a argument God intervened and said that I should forget about the past and look at what is happening. That the people around u are the best way for us... he stopped and said u to survive. That I should start up a conversation and become friends. I thought about it and replied okay, then opened my eyes and looked to the person on my right since we were sitting in a circle it would make it easier for us to talk. The person on my right was a boy with orange hair and freckles that designed his face in a scattered manner. He wore a ripped up shirt with brown dirty jeans with no shoes. after staring at him for sometime i scrambled up Some courage to talk to him and ask of his name. He looked at me revealing his sea green eyes and said his name was Davis. I said to him my own name is Levi

before I could ask the next person they started cooperating with each other telling each other their names. the one next to Davis was a girl. with dirty blond hair and brown eyes. Her name was Sylvia, the one next to her was another girl that resembled her exactly. looked like they were sisters but not identical twins. Her name was Bliss she had brown hair and brown eyes with a beauty mark inbetween her nose and mouth. Davis was born into slavery while the rest of us had tragic stories that no one wanted to talk of. When I looked around all of the kids were in groups of 5. When we relaxed Davis and me walked to the upper left of the hall where our combat teacher said food was. we grabbed enough for all of us and went back to our spot, where we ate and soon after slept of. In my dream I was laying down on soft grass looking up at the blue sky until Devil and God interrupted me by standing over me and dragging me to my feet. angrily I shouted what is your problem? They replied in unison we need to teach u on how to use your godly powers which gave me a shiver down my spine. I asked them what if I refuse? God replied then I will die because my manna will probably explode if I don't exert it and it will cause a huge bomb maybe killing half of human population. I looked at them and couldn't help a chuckle of total fear. Afraid of my own existence I asked when do we start. They taught me how to charge my manna and use it to manipulate space and void that will allow me to use all the elemental powers. After God told me to meditate so my body will understand when I wake up. I crossed my legs and opened my mind and meditated. My real self woke up by the noise of a loud bell and shouting which reminded me of the slaver camp. I got up along with my friends and we walked outside Were the master swordsman was waiting for us. He waited until we all gathered. The man said he never told the newbies his name and asked us to step forward. When we walked up front standing right in front of us he said his name was William Alta, we may call him master Alta. He shouted is he clear and in unison we replied yes sir!. He ordered the rest of the children to the training grounds to form groups and brawl against others. He then took us to the armoury and asked us to pick any weapon of our choice. Emily rushed a short handed double sword and cut through a table with just half her strength which made me develop a new fear. We all looked at her frightened and asked where she learned that from. She smiled and said her father taught her some fighting techniques with double swords. Davis took a long sword with a bronze Colored shield. Sylvia took a long scythe with a black handle and Bliss took a thin gauntlet that was very thin and stopped at her elbow, it had small knives that will pop out when she shook her hand. I searched but couldn't find any thing until I saw my dad favorite weapon. It was a double axe with 2 pairs and chains running through the bottom handle of the weapon. the chains were really long and rusty. Master Alta came to me and said that I should make a easier choice that this weapon is hard to handle. I refused to give it up and told him I could handle it. he stepped down from trying to persuade me and lead us to another area of the armoury room. And gave us all new clothes and boots with light iron armour. He then told us to get changed and prepare for battle training. We all were equipped with uniform light armour. We walked past the other kids that were in pairs of 5 brutally attacking each other, which gave me shivers down my spine as I gulped in my fear. We then arrived at a place a little bit far away from the other kids. A wooden fence surrounded the exterior of the place. While the floor was all sand and pebbles. We walked inside the large field and were asked to stand in a line. Master Alta stood in front of us and called me out to start training first and asked the others to pay attention. I came out and stood in front of him. He then told me to attack him with everything I got. I exhaled slowly then rushed him swing my right axe at his stomach. He dodged so swiftly like it was nothing to him. I then rushed him again swinging my axes in a random way trying to get a good hit. As he was just backing up I threw the 2 axes straight at his face with incredible speed. He quickly dodged as the 1 of the axes scraped his forehead leaving a cut and forcing him to miss a step. As the axes hanged in the air I drew the chains connected to them, turned around drawing the axes away with unimaginable speed that I didn't know I could use and forced the axes back towards master Alta as he stumbled. He was unable to dodge so he was forced to pull out his great sword as the axes and sword clanged to together forcing master Alta back at incredible speeds as he tumbled. The pressure of the blast caused a huge gust of wind forcing my friends back to. When the dust and everything settled I fell to my knees unable to move my legs. I looked at master Alta as he slowly stood up amazed about what I have done. He quickly walked towards me and caught my head before it hit the floor. He saw that I was exhausted and rested me on the fence. He then went back to training the others keeping a close eye on me. Later on as the sun dropped master Alta pigy backed me back to the hall. Students were looking at me with a pathetic expression in their faces, like I could never make it. I ignored all their gossips as Master Alta laid me down. Then he looked at me and left. Davis and Bliss picked me up and walked to our corner where we stayed in silence. Davis stared at me for some time before he got the courage to ask me what I am. In my head the devil said I should not reveal what I am. That at the stage I'm in, I won't be able to handle what will come next. I sat quietly staring at my feet. Then I replied Davis telling him I don't know what I am. I was so embarrassed to look any of them in their faces, I didn't even know why I was embarrassed. So I layed down and closed my eyes and told them we will talk about this later. Emily noticed I was not very happy and laid down next to me grabbing my hand. And we slept of. In my dream I continued my magic training with God while the devil taught me how to fight and control my strength. Later in the morning we were woken up by a beautiful women in a black. She wore a short leather jacket with a black shirt inside. her pants where torn in a fashionable way at her knees. Her hair was long and blonde while at the tips where dark pink and blue. long daggers fashioned at the 2 sides of her laps. She sighed and introduced herself to everyone in the hall. She said her name was Minerva Evergreen, that we will be addressing her as Master Evergreen. Later on after telling us she was our magic teacher, she lead us to a large waterfall outside the kingdom. She told everyone to touch the water then she started speaking in some parables, like she was casting a spell. Suddenly different elements and things started to appear next to people. Around Bliss water and wind surrounded her, the same with her sister Sylvia. Emily was surrounded by fire and a black ball on the floor, which I guessed was shadow. Davis had stones swirling around him and electricity sparking around his body. I looked at around me and saw nothing special at all. I closed my eyes and asked God what was happening and he said that the spell Evergreen casted will have no effect on you. He said where I draw my manna is not from my self but from everything. He said he created heaven and earth that my manna is unlimited. I opened my eyes and looked at my hands as I felt manna surging through my body. I didn't want to look awkward so I summoned light and fire around me so I wouldn't look deformed. Later on that day Master Evergreen taught us many things about magic..

Our training lasted for 14 years till the time for our last battle.
