A Small Gift

<p>September, 22, 2027<br/>Florida, USA<br/>Logan sat in the bland living room right in front of the TV replaying Herschel Walker's 76 yard run against South Carolina, zooming past everyone on the sidelines, he loved Chris Johnson too but Herschel walker was just on another level.<br/>Tomorrow was his birthday and he would finally turn 5 so he could start playing pop warner if his parents let him.<br/>He was excited so he grabbed a ball and ran around the backyard doing jukes and spin moves that he thought were graceful and smooth. But for someone looking at him he would look like a dog chasing it's tail.<br/>But he was having fun and slowly but surely improving his juke moves but the spin didn't seem to get any better. He kept after Chris Johnson in terms of agility because he was much more agile.<br/>After close to 45 minutes he went back inside to get cleaned up because he was sweating and dirty from all the times he had fallen over. He then watched a little TV before eating dinner and going to bed.<br/>*****<br/>He was now going to the living room where he would get to rip open his presents. Yet right there he only saw one present. He ripped it open without expectations and found a card and an object wrapped in even more paper. When he first saw these he was disappointed because his family was rich and he knew they could do better.<br/> He saw what was inside of the card 'even though we know the dangers firsthand we will allow you to play football but if you break any bones we will pull you out'. This excited him and also further pushed him to be a speed back. If he was in too much contact who knew what could happen.<br/>He then focused his attention on the object while smiling widely, He ripped open the paper and found his dad's previous Eagles helmet bearing the number 22 with his autograph and a jersey that he used to wear before retiring 4 years ago and entering the hall of fame.<br/>His dad was Ty Jones, one of the greatest safeties of all time. He caught so many picks people constantly wondered why he didn't play Wide Receiver. Having 72 interceptions in a career just 9 behind the all time record in his 12 year career, people argued he would've beaten it had he played a few more years but his dad had suffered too much.<br/>He put on the jersey and the helmet looking like a bobble head in a dress and took off running around the living room, even running into his father before he sat down to rest.<br/>This was what he had been longing for and his parent had finally let him. He was so happy that he would actually get to be like Herschel, Johnson, and Barry Sanders.
