15 Camping Troubles - 1d medical

"Hanna, you know how to make a fire right?" Sam asked her while Sam tore open a package of crisps. "Well our brothers are medics and not firefighters so the answer is no," Hanna said while snatching the packet away, "and second of all, those are for tonight Sam Horan."

"But I'm hungry," Sam whined. "Well," Hanna answered, "it runs in the family then."

Both girls laughed at each other. They were best since they were born. Their brothers could get along with each other pretty well together with two other guys. So you know, all the siblings of them got quite tangled into each other.

A few weeks ago all the 1d siblings decided to go camping, so here they are, camping in the wild with no one looking after them. Hanna and Tobias Payne were the oldest with 15 years, Sam Horan was 14, Cecile Styles was 12, Kate Horan was 11, Boaz Tomlinson was 9, Hunter Horan was 8 and the Tomlinson twins Ivy and Junior were 6.

"Hanna," someone yelled from another tent. Both Hanna and Sam walked outside the caravan were Ivy, Junior, Cecile, Boaz and Tobias would be sleeping. "Hey little one," Hanna replies when she saw Hunter standing in front of her with his arms crossed, "what's up?" Hunter looked at Hanna and his sister Sam. "I can't put up my tent," he said trying to look mad but failing miserably at his attempt. "Well," Sam said crouching down to get with her brother on eye level, "why don't you ask Tobias or Cecile to help you, because Hanna and I are a bit busy with the food for tonight." With the word food Hunter's eyes lit up. "Well I was quite right about family," Hanna said laughing while turning away. Both Hunter and Sam were obsessed with food, just like their older brother Niall, and to be fair you can't find a better cook than Sam.

"But if Cecile and Tobias are helping you then why do you need me?" Hanna asked while holding back her laugh. When those words left her mouth Hanna realised why Hunter actually came to them. Her twin brother came walking back with two pair of sticks and the whole tent.

"What on earth are you doing?" Sam asked laughing. "Yeah," Tobias said looking confused, "I'm sorry but I have like no idea how to put up this thing."

Hanna looked at her twin and knew what he meant since Tobias was most definitely born with two left hands.

"I'll do it," Hanna offered which gave her brother a big relieve, "only if you're lit the fire tonight and you go to the store to buy chips for me and Sam tonight."

"Deal." Sam and Hanna high-fives each other and walked to the place where Hunters tent had to come.

"But Han," Sam mentioned while holding up the two stocks, "why did Tobias have to go to the store while we need to get groceries for tonight as well."

"I know," Hanna said while slipping the tent over the stocks, "but he doesn't."

"Alright," Hanna stated while walking around in the supermarket pushing around their shopping cart, "what do you want for tonight Ivy?" Hanna and Sam went shopping together with Ivy while all the other ones decided to go swimming. Ivy just sat in the cart and behaved like a little princess pointing at everything that she wanted.

They got passed the chips where Sam and Ivy couldn't control their willings and they ended up with 10 different packs of different flavours of crisps.

"I want pancakes tonight," Ivy screamed while Hanna pushed around the cart in the eating section. "Alright," Sam said while throwing in a few packages of pre-baked pancakes. Ivy made herself more comfortable sitting in the cart.

"Sorry princess Ivy," Sam said lifting Ivy out of the cart being at the checkout, "but they don't sell pretty girls here." Sam tipped Ivy's nose which made her giggle.

"Here we go," Thomas said while he placed the two boards of pancakes in front of the younger ones.

All of them immediately attacked the given pile of pancakes. Thomas snapped a picture and sent it to his brother.

Hanna and Thomas has another little sister called Ella but she died at the age of 3 half a year ago, so Liam was way more protective then ever.

"In this cases," Thomas whispered to Hanna, "I miss Ella the most." Hanna simply nodded and looked sad in front of her.

"Liam apped me," Thomas began randomly, "he asked if you brought your inhaler." Hanna her eyes widened. That was the only thing she had forgotten, her inhaler. Thomas could tell by the amount of fear that filled Hanna's eyes that she forgot it. He also knew how important that inhaler for her was because she had bad asthma and without inhaler Thomas couldn't help her.

"We'll be fine," Thomas reassures Hanna while sitting down next to Cecile. The younger ones where making faces and getting themselves sticky with the amount of syrup they poured over there pancakes.

Sam wanted to correct some of them but Hanna quietly shook her head so Sam left it with that.

All the younger ones where making syrup faces on the pancakes but we're most likely to end up on theirs.

"Alright," Cecile said while Hanna, Sam and Thomas cleaned the table, "let's all head to the shower shall we?"

Almost everyone got so sticky that they weren't representable at all. Hunter, Boaz and Junior went showering with Thomas while Sam and Hanna were washing Ivy.

"Sam," Ivy asked while Sam dried her, "why aren't you and Hanna having a boyfriend?" Sam and Hanna both chocked on their laugh when Ivy all of the sudden asked it.

"Well eh," Sam started while looking for help at Hanna who just laughed and shook her head.

"I know," Ivy said, "because you can't because Louis told me that I couldn't have a boyfriend till I'm sixty."

Hanna could help but laugh while Sam let out a sigh of relieve.

"You're alright little munchkin," Hanna said while grabbing Ivy's nose which made her giggle.

When Hanna started dressing up Ivy, Cecile and Kate returned.

"I'm hungry," Kate said while throwing her hands in the air and looking at her sister. Hanna looked back at Sam with a "told you" face.

All of them laughed and returned to the caravan where the boys were already trying to lit the campfire.

Ivy sprinted away and returned with her stuffed pet. She held it right in front of Hanna her face and wanted Hanna to say it was pretty only didn't Hanna got the clue.

"Hanna," Ivy said losing her concentration and holding the animal even closer, "isn't she pretty. Louis gave it to me."

Hanna crunches down and nodded while scuffling through Ivy's hair.

Hanna noticed that she was having trouble breathing and knew these were her pre symptoms of her asthma.

Hanna desperately looked for Tobias who was just taking the marshmallows out of the caravan.

When Hanna spotted her twin she made her way towards him.

Tobias saw his sister coming over to him and immediately saw what was wrong. He nodded to her and she nodded back. It was their sign when Hanna had an asthma attack.

Tobias laid the marshmallows aside and walked towards Hanna.

"You alright?" He asked while he walked next to her. Hanna shook her head not having enough air to talk.

Tobias lift her up and walked with Hanna towards her own tent. He laid her down and pulled her arms up to expand her ribs.

After a few minutes Hanna caught her breath back.

"Alright here?" Tobias asked while he looked at his twin sister.

Hanna nodded and breathed deeply in and out.

"Yea," she said, "I'm fi..ne." Tobias nodded and noticed that she still was a bit short of breath but that was something that happened more often after an asthma attack and luckily this wasn't such a great one so Tobias knew how to handle this minor ones but things could turn out pretty nasty this evening and Tobias was fully aware of that.

"You want that yellow one?" Tobias asked Junior while Tobias was making Juniors spies with marshmallows. Junior excitingly jumped next to him and got his spies out of Tobias his hands.

He ran to the fire and placed his spies above it. He only didn't count on Sam and Hanna. "No you little man," Sam said when Junior turned around, "you know that you can't do that because you'll hurt yourself." Hanna grabbed the spies and put it above the campfire which Hunter successfully had lit.

After a while Junior his marshmallows were molten which he eagerly ate.

Hanna realised that she was standing too long in the smoke which made it hard to breath.

She sat down next to Kate and Cecile who were braiding each other's hair. "You alright," Kate asked while looking up from her braiding work. Hanna nodded and then Ivy came running in her arms. She looked pretty tired and so did Junior and Hunter.

"I think," Hanna exclaimed while picking up Ivy, "that its time for Hunter, Junior and this one to brush their teeth and get to bed." When Hunter heard his name and bedtime being put in the same sentence, he decided to run away.

Boaz spotted his mate trying to escape bedtime and decided to run after him. "Hunter," Boaz whispered, "hide in my tent." Hunter nodded and left to Boaz his tent which he shared with Kate.

Hunter saw the air mattress and immediately jumped on the one of his sister.

"Maybe we can sleep here together," Hunter suggested his eyes lightning up. He excitedly nodded and ran to Hanna because he knew that she couldn't resist his puppy eyes.

"Hanna," Hunter said tugging on her trousers, "can Boaz and I sleep together?" He set up his puppy eyes. Hanna sighed and waved Sam and Kate over. Hanna whispered something in their ears where they nodded at.

"Alright you may," Hanna said which made both boys jump, "but only if you both go to sleep right now." Both of the boys excitedly nodded and even helped Kate to move her stuff in the caravan.

Hanna slowly laid her head on Tobias his shoulder. Cecile and Kate just went to the caravan, so that meant that only Sam, Tobias and Hanna were out there.

"Oww yeah," Sam suddenly said which made Hanna to look up form her brothers shoulder, "how is Liam about the new deal with Niall?" Tobias looked confused but only Hanna knew were Sam was talking about. Niall had recently made a deal with Liam about coaching a new football team next season.

"Yeah," Hanna said yawning, "I thought he said that they were doing the u17-1 for girls but I'm not into having my brother as trainer."

Sam nodded understandably leaving Tobias in the unknown.

"Let's head back to bed," Tobias said while standing up and pulling his sister up as well. Sam and Hanna nodded and left to their tent.

"Goodnight," Tobias said to the girls when he left in the caravan.

Sam and Hanna walked to their tent but stopped for a second by the tent of Hunter and Boaz and found both boys fast asleep.

Sam smiled and closed the tent again and saw Hanna already laying on her mattress.

"Goodnight girl," Sam said when she turned off her phone. "Night," Hanna respondes and turned around

Hanna has a hard time during the night. She felt her ribs getting tighter and tighter which made it more and more difficult to breath.

She tried to shake Sam awake who wasn't giving in at all.

At the sixth attempt, Sam turned around and faced her best friend.

"What is it," Sam said yawning slowly sitting up. Hanna didn't have the air and power to speak. Suddenly Sam heard wheezing and immediately searched for her phone. Once she found it she put on her flashlight and saw Hanna struggling to get air into her lungs. "Alright Hanna," Sam said trying to stay calm but failing miserably, "were is your inhaler." Hanna slowly shook her head which made it clear for Sam that she forgot it.

Sam nodded and sprinted out of the tent to get Tobias.

Sam ran directly into the caravan which made Kate and Tobias shot up immediately.

"What the heck Sam," her sister said back to her. "It's Hanna," Sam said out of breath. Tobias and Kate immediately jumped out of their beds and ran behind Sam.

Tobias saw his sister having one of the worst asthma attacks he had ever witnessed. "Is she alright Tobias?" Sam frantically asked. Tobias sat down next to his twin and slowly shook his head which made Kate and Sam to burst into tears.

Tobias knew he would have to call his brother and he wasn't looking foreword to that at all.

After three dials Liam already picked up. "Yoo bro you know how late it is," Liam said while picking up the phone clearly being called awake.

"Yeah sorry Li," Tobias said chocking on his own sobs, "but please come and get Hanna because I have no idea what to do now." Tobias was right now crying his heart out.

"Alright I'll be there in about 10 minutes. Don't let her sleep at all am I clear."

Tobias softly give in to the instructions he was given by his brother.

Liam hung up and ran to his car and drove with an amazing speed to the camp side were he had dropped his sister off 12 hours ago.

Liams car pulled up the camp side and he took it for the run were he knew his brother and sister were camping.

"Tobias," he yelled, "where are you at?" Tobias shot out of the tent and waved with his phone flashlight.

"You hear Hanna," Tobias said crying of relief, "Liam is here to help you. You'll be fine." Hanna slowly nodded still trying to get some sufficient amount of oxygen into her lungs.

Liam came running to the noise and saw Sam and Kate crying which most likely meant that this was damn right serious.

"Hey mate," Liam said while putting a hand on Tobias shoulder, "I'll handle it from here Yeah?"

Tobias nodded and backed up and that's when it became clear to him. He could loose another sibling AGAIN.

Liam said behind Hanna and tried to expand her ribs by pulling her back. Once he completed that he put her inhaler in her mouth.

"Just breath yeah," Liam said soothing. The inhaler wasn't giving the effect Liam hoped for and he knew he get to get her to the hospital ASAP. He picked her up in bridal style and walked back to Tobias.

"I'm taking her to Niall and Harry yeah? You stay here and take care of the others. I'll let you know when I know something more."

Tobias slowly nodded and returned with Kate to the caravan while Sam returned to her own tent.

Liam noticed, while Hanna was still in his arms, that she got it more difficult over time to breath. Suddenly she had gone limp in his arms.

"Fuck," Liam yelled and sprinted back to his car where he laid Hanna in the back and drove with an amazing speed to the hospital.

"Niall help me please," Liam yelled at his bandmate while running into the hospital. Liam was at the point that he couldn't hold his tears anymore. Niall came running into the ER where he found his bandmate holding his younger sisters best friend.

"Liam," Niall said clearly shocked while taking over Hanna from Liam, "What on earth happened?"

Liam was crying but managed to choke out that she had an asthma attack and that she didn't have her inhaler.

Niall nodded and laid Hanna on a gurney and ran away with her.

"Alright Hanna," Niall started when he placed on stickers on her and placed an oxygen mask over her mouth, "I need you to wake up for me alright love?"

Hanna was too far away to hear Niall and Niall realised when the monitors ruled out that her oxygen level was even less then 30%.

The worst thing Niall had to do was to intibate Hanna.

"Harry," Niall yelled through the hallway, "come here for a sec."

Niall heard familiar footsteps running down the hallway and not too much later Harry ran into the room.

"Niall wha..... omg is that Hanna!" Harry said crying. Niall slowly nodded and grabbed the intubation material.

"Wait what," Harry said looking in disbelief, "you're kidding right?" Niall sadly shook his head and cleared Hanna's airways.

"Niall isn't there like something else we can do," Harry desperately tried.

"HARRY LOOK HER STATS ARE UNDER 30%. IF WE DON'T DO THIS SHE WILL BE DEAD AND THAN YOU CAN EXPLAIN TO LIAM THAT HE LOST ANOTHER SISTER."

Niall was pretty scared loosing Hanna since Niall and Louis lost Ella on their table and had to tell Liam and their parents that Ella didn't make it.

Harry understood and gave Niall the stuff he requested.

Once the tube was in Niall connected the tube with the oxygen machine which made her oxygen levels rise slowly.

"Harry," Niall said while finishing the charts, "go get Liam for me alright?"

Harry nodded and returned not much later with Liam by his side.

Liam saw the state where his sister was in he let a few tears slip.

"What are the odds?" Liam suddenly asked. "Well let's just say that it's a miracle that if she wakes up that she has no brain damage. Looking it by now she has a great change of survival."

Liam nodded and walked away.

After four hours Hanna her stats had risen higher than Niall expected so he decided to shut her machine off and go over to an oxygen mask.

"What ya doing," Liam said sleepy. He saw Niall standing next to his sister.

"Her stats have risen to 70% so I'm going to take her of the intubation and get her an oxygen mask."

Liam nodded understandably and carefully watched how Niall treated his sister.

"Hey girl," Niall said when he was done, "just try open your eyes." He rubbed her sternum and got some pain stimulation back which made Liam shot up.

Hanna slowly opened her eyes and looked back at Liam. She slowly smiles and reached her hands out to hug him.
