Chapter 6

Bella

" Holy Christ, you mean your father did this to you? This is devilish of them", she exclaimed as I became emotional again remembering everything and cried uncontrollably.

"I feel hurt you know, I have no parental love, I try my best to be a perfect daughter? Is it that my life is not balanced enough? My younger one gets everything, they made it to the extent I will be in the same class with her. I have dreams but am a dropout now, working as a maid, meaning I have no hope". I said as my voice was breaking and I was still crying.

My friend tried hugging me to make me feel better but I felt the pains on my body and shout in pain.

" Am so sorry, that hurt. I won't lie I feel for you dear friend" she said.

"I have an hour left before going to work please can you help me with food, am starving?", I asked her.

" Sure come in with me, grandma will be happy seeing you eating with us, she wanted to go and make a scene with your parents but when I remembered what that good stranger did for you by confronting your parents for been wicked, you woke up at the hospital. "

"I just hope they see the best from me someday".

I entered and greeted her grandma who got saddened with everything that happened to me, I joined them to eat, they were like my family who showed me the love I always needed.

I needed to leave and I was glad, my friend helped me with money that will be enough for transportation for some days, she is nice to me, she got her money from doing part-time work and attending part-time school ever since she managed to finish High school with me.

I stopped a taxi and described the place I was heading to.

The security opened the gate and got shocked seeing me looking so pale and some of the bruises on my skin that he was forced to ask," Hello miss, forgive my boundaries but who did this to you?", he asked.

"I just had a minor accident but am okay now", I faked a smile and went in.

My mind said to me," It's okay not to be okay".

Brenda who doesn't even care if am pale or not told me she is going to punish me for leaving the boss's son's room at night.

I never knew she saw me, I pleaded and she said she will let it slide if I can mention something I can be doing for her without me asking for money.

I looked at their face again, that she shifted her head and said, "What?".

" Well you know this your make-up, you have on your face is damn awful".

She gave me a deadly look.

"Am very good at make-up, I will do the best make-up that will make you look like? Hum who is your favorite celebrity?".I asked.

" I love Cardi B?", she replied.

"Then it's settled but won't be doing it every day right? Except occasionally?" I wished to know what am getting myself into.

She agreed and I resumed duty and was fully happy when I learned Kyle is not home.

"At least my punishment can wait so I can recover from the previous punishment".

When cleaning, the memory of how my knight in shining armor came and I just blushed.

What am I even doing? thinking of a billionaire son, no way this is out of it"

Waking up still feeling so tired because my night was way too short.

I stood up from the bed and just went straight to the bathroom still yawning and stretching.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face properly.

Coming out from the bathroom, I put on my joggers and my canvass, needed to do my early morning jogging and exercise before resuming work at the office today.

They all can't wait to see their new CEO at dad's company.

I put on my headset and left the house, doing my normal routine as I listened to good music.

I know Theo will be here by now soon also.

Truly Theo joined me jogging as we greeted ourselves, good morning.

We were done with our exercise, Theo always parked his car close by before the jogging in the morning since his house is far from mine.

We always do this together every morning and while most weekends we visit the gym house and this always makes us look fit.

"Am so tired", Theo said.

" Me too, I am thirsty as hell", I replied to him.

"You lucky I came with some bottled water, you would have just fainted today", he teased.

" Let's walk to my car to get the bottle of water."

I nodded and I even walked faster than him because I was seriously dying of taste right now.

We brought out the bottle of water and immediately drank from it, the can was empty and I felt okay now.

"Thanks, Bro, you such a lifesaver, hope you know that", I said to him patting his shoulders.

" Let get going so I drop you at home, you wouldn't want to be late on your first day at work and I wouldn't want to meet the important meeting I have at my company too", he said.

"Sure let's go, hope we are going to party hard tonight with some amazing girls?" I said with a smile on my lips and he gave me a high five meaning tonight is going to be fun, fun for us all.

I put on my favorite blue suit and my shoes I just bought.

I styled my hair to slip and my lips look so tempting in the mirror.

I took my latest Samsung phone and connected my ear pod in case I got very bored at work.

Now am all set to leave, I don't feel like having breakfast, I left before the other employed maids started coming.

Arriving at the company premises, my PA, manager, secretary, and others waited for me at the entrance of the office with a warm smile.

I felt welcome already, my new assigned PA by my father took my bag and others to my office and I told her to set the office to my taste.

All the workers were all happy having me around, some of the girls whispered saying, "Our CEO is so handsome, I love his lips, his girlfriend will be so lucky"

I address each and everyone at the announcement hall and I wish to get each person's report to see what we are lacking behind and all.

I entered my office and saw it's all perfect with the name CEO at the door entrance.

I have my bathroom and toilet in here, a room I can relax, it was so comfortable that I forgot that being in my office is like being in my room.

I attended to each file on my desk but as the CEO I can leave anytime.

I got home and wanted to catch some sleep before tonight's party, I requested my food should be served in my room by the new girl.

I heard a knock at the door and I said, "Come in!".

She came in greeted and served my meal.

She was about to leave when I stood up dragging her hand," Did I tell you, you can leave or you have forgotten have not punished you yet"I yelled.

She said in pain, "Am so sorry sir", I noticed how pale she was, she wasn't having these marks on her skin yesterday, why is her body this red and filled with bruises.

" Hey what's your name?".

"Bella sir", I saw tears gathered in her eye, I felt bad because she is bringing out my soft spot for her.

" Who did this you Bella?", I asked.
