Luck is required to be O.P.

My name is Jeremy and I have been gaming professionally for the Last few years mostly strategy games and mmorpgs. When I heard about this new beta test I was excited. First of all they were allowing streaming of the game and were not restricting anything besides classes

Next Gen sent all beta testers an email stating that all classes will be limited to the first 2500 players and once selected it will be your class the entire time. You will not be able to switch classes. Time wise the game is 1:1 ratio so 1 hour is equivalent to 1 hours real world. For safety they will be limiting all players to 12 hours a day. No exceptions. If we cannot agree to these they will just revoke access.

Just like everyone else I was already in the V.R. bed and waiting in the lobby for the start at exactly midnight. 5....4....3.....2....1....

Total Blackness. Noooooooo... I jump up look around as there was a loud crash outside. My drunk neighbor just took out the power pole. Why God? Why today? I go online on my phone to see if I can get a generator delivered and no such luck. I guess I have to wait til they get it repaired. Nothing to do but go to sleep and hope it gets fixed early cause I'll still be able to get a full 12 hours in and won't be to far behind everyone.

I set my alarm for nine o'clock and pray that power is back on by then.

Once I wake up I have A.C. and lights so no harm no foul.I can still get on and play. My mother forces me to eat breakfast before I can play but seeing how I was so excited to play this game that I hadn't eaten in almost 24 hours it seemed like a good plan.

I quickly go lie down in the V.R. hood for the second time and the world starts to spin.

Fine how about Luckless Player.

After searching for close to 10 minutes I finally found one that was just like me unextraordinary. He was average height weight wasn't too tall or small had black hair and basic feature. Totally unassuming.

"Luckless player will be sent to class selection now."

Finally I was on my way.

" ERROR PROGRAMMING HAS MET MAXIMUM PLAYERS FOR ALL CLASSES. DEFAULTING TO RANDOM SPIN TO DETERMINE CLASS."

Wow am I really this lucky hidden class already just because I logged in late. this illusionist class seems great. "Open Stats" I say aloud.
