She took the pendant and the letter in and compared them together. These handwritings were too similar to be coincidental.

She desperately wanted to know who they belonged to but she was running late for work and had to leave immediately.

Just as she was about to leave her condo, her doorbell rang and when she checked who it was through the peephole on the door and saw the devil she had just spoken about.

She turned to see if everything was in place then opened the door. "Hy Mr Axel. What a pleasant surprise. What brings you here so early in the morning?"

Hua didn't want to behave as though she knew that the pendant was from him and simply treated him like a visitor.

"Good morning Ms Hua. Yeah! Well, I was just leaving my condo to go to work and I was wondering if you were home." he politely greeted like a good neighbour.

"Ah... Well, I was just leaving for work as well." Hua answered him.
