Shaolin Temple Is Under Attack

Zagan was in his room meditating with master Shi De when his amulet brought forth an eye blinding light. It lasted for a few minutes before it began to deem again. Zagan was surprised. 'Why did the amulet begin to shine all of a sudden?' He wondered.

Master Shi De looked surprised as well but it only lasted less than a second as he concentrated on his meditation again. Zagan looked like he wanted to ask a question but reserved it for later.

When they were done with meditation, master Shi De walked out of the room without saying a word. Not even a goodnight. Soon, midnight came and Zagan laid on his bed unsure of what to think. He tossed and turned in bed hoping to get some sleep but he couldn't get any. The only thing on this mind was the amulet. He was curious about what it truly was. Then he recalled that the old monk would always say that meditation aids relaxation.

He got out of bed and sat on the wooden floor with his legs crossed and his hands on both tight. He inhaled deeply and then exhaled. Focusing on his inner self, he closed his eyes and inhaled again. When his breathing was finally stable, he couldn't feel anything again. It felt as if he was floating with his eyes shut.

After a few moments of silence, he fell into a trance and images began to flash through his head. The images he saw looked like an event probably in the past or the future; he couldn't quite fathom.

What he saw was a handsome young man covered in a dark cloak, walking amid the crowd. He was in what looked like a castle but one that zagan had never seen before. This castle was decorated with gold and everything in it was exquisite. The handsome man exuding an aura of pride, wisdom, evil and danger all the others looked intimidated by his presence but stared at him with disgust. He walked to the front of the big castle and there sat seven godlike people below and two superiors above.

"Erebus, what brings you here?" The man who sat at the third chair asked, his ice full of irritation. His name was Poseidon. God of water.

Seated on all seven chairs were,

'Apollo. God of light and sun. Also the god of music and healing.

Prometheus, god of fire. He could control both fire and metal to do his will. He also had the ability to make his creations move.

Kai, god of water, earthquakes and horses He possesses super-strength, super-speed, shapeshifting, immortality, and invulnerability. Poseidon can control the seas and all life that dwells within them.

Amora also known as cupid, was the goddess of love and beauty, and the protector of sailors. She is immortal and very powerful. She has a belt that has the power to cause others to fall in love with the wearer.

Phoenix, god of the hunt, forest and hill, the moon. She had perfect aim with the bow and arrow, the ability to turn herself and others into animals, healing, disease, and control of nature.

Kane, the god of war. He had the power of flight, immortality, the ability to change the form, teleporting, healing, superstrength, and could materialize items), but he can also shoot fireballs. Kane also has a great strategy and war tactics.

And finally, Dara. She is one of the most intelligent and wisest of the Greek gods. She is also good at war strategy and giving heroes courage.

On the upper part of the podium, Hadad and Hera sat side by side observing the view.

"I see you've replaced me with someone else." Erebus sarcastically spoke evading the question and looked directly at Hadad.

Remaining expressionless, Hadad asked in his bold thunderous voice. "Erebus, why have you come here? What do you want?"

Erebus played with his fingers and turned side to side repeatedly like an obedient son. After taking his time, he lifted his head and spoke, "It's simple. I want to be ruler over Elysium. Look, I know I chose the underworld but you see..., that's not enough. You see, now I have a son. Want to know his name,"

All the seven gods looked bewildered. "What's he talking about? We are gods reproduction is only meant for Hadad ." They whispered amongst themselves.

After staring at them for a while, Erebus waved his hands. "Never mind. My point is, we are coming back home."

"Are you out of your mind?" Kane boomed. "This is Elysium, not Tartarus. You don't get a say when it comes to this path."

Ignoring him as if he was invisible, Erebus looked directly into Hadad's eyes. After an intense stare, he turned around and began to walk out "I give you three days to prepare. My army would match in if that's the way you want it."

After his silhouette completely disappeared, Apollo chuckled. "He obviously has no idea whom he's dealing with. I alone can handle him and his so-called army."

"Knowing Erebus's strategy, he'll definitely not attack in three days. He's not trustworthy even the slightest." Dara deduced.

EREBUS IS COMING...., EREBUS IS COMING ....., Zagan quickly opened his eyes in terror but that didn't stop the voice in his head. EREBUS IS COMING. He used his hands to close his ears but the voice kept coming. He ran out of his room, straight to master Shi De's room.

Without knocking, he ran in still having his hands over both ears. The master who laid on his bed stood up alarmed. "What's going on Zagan? Why are you here at this hour and why do you look troubled?" He asked worriedly.

Zagan looked up with his eyes which had turned completely red like fire even his pupils were bright red. The master was taken aback for a few seconds. He moved closer to Zagan who was shivering and spoke, "It's alright yang. Everything is going to be..."

Before he could complete his statement, noises were heard from outside which cause Zagan to shiver even more. "The temple is under attack! The temple is under attack!"

Master Shi De furrowed his brow, "Attack? How's that possible?"

Lu Feng ran to the master's chambers to tell him what was happened. Just as the door swung open, Zagan closed his eyes to prevent Feng from seeing his eyes. With just a glance, the master could tell what was going on. He turned to Zagan and said to him, do not leave this room no matter what happens.
