Golriz Chakar and the other militia leaders looked up to see the Horus gunships pulling away. They weren't surprised by this. 

<Steady! We are moving to phase 2!> Each leader informed their men.

The eight units had pushed passed the secondary defence lines on the way to the Town hall which the hostiles were using as their Command centre.

The defence line around this location was the main defence line the militia had to breach.

The hostiles insensitively collapsed surrounding building and piled vehicle wreckage on the way to slow down the militia's progress. This also forced the militia to push through determined paths.
