CH143:  NDI THE MERCHANT

  "The NDI can certainly provide you with these. However, if you're here, it means everyone else is refusing to hand you these due to the Number Corps' unspoken rule for the first mission. So why should I do otherwise?"

It was no surprise that the head of the NDI knew about the Number Corps. The Corps had to work with relevant government organisations. If the heads of these organisations didn't know about them, how were they supposed to work together? Besides, how could the head of one of the cornerstones of the country's Defence-Security infrastructure not know about the Number Corps? 

"We aren't asking you to give it to us? We want to purchase them." Fatima replied.

"You can also purchase these from the military. Why come to us?" DG Aribisala retorted.
