The alpha's guardian

The next morning, Andrea woke up too early to fix all her things. She was excited after all she had gone through for a couple of weeks inside of the hospital's premises.

The white, hospital robe was placed on the bed. As I looked throughout the entire area, I remembered the first night after her operation.

"Huh," I sighed and smiled over my shoulders. It's over now. "Are you ready to see our new apartment?"

I turned my gaze on her, a little bit nervous and excited at the same moment. I just hope she would like our new home or else, I had to look for another one as soon as possible.

Andrea shook her head, peeking around as well. She couldn't perhaps believe that this is the right time to go home and slowly live the life she deserved.

"Let's go! If we will stay here longer, I think I might burst into tears again," she replied and caught her wiping of the tip of her eyes. "It's been a month and I couldn't wait to go back to school as well!"
