Rapture_Tales
This has been rather fun, though there were a few desatisfying factors. I might not end up reading it fully because of those. 1- The comedic element causes me great discomfort, it may be because the jokes are too plain or that I don’t share the same sense of humor as the author, but I would truly enjoy the novel more had it not been there. 2- I’m simply not too keen on paying for slow-paced novels, especially when the average word count isn’t low. 3- While the character development, story build ups, and the background of the world were very well made, there were some inconsistencies and redundancies at least every other chapter. For example—and I cannot name many due to how many there are—sometimes, it feels as though our MC’s intelligence and thought processing both go up and down solely based on current events, and rarely ever persist over the course of 2-3 chapters. Even if I were to ignore the second and third points, not to mention the improper grammar that pops up once in a while, I would still be unlikely to continue reading this solely due to the first and main point, I find the comedy sense in this novel too unfunny and too unpleasant.
