How is this novel supposed to be a harem romance novel if William just teases women yet when they confess to them he freezes and becomes an indecisive beta male, who is supposedly simping for a girl in another universe he dated for two weeks and didn’t even sleep with. So we’ve got an MC who feels guilty for being mad at the person who enslaved and abused him and is unable to pursue or commit to any girls around him, yet somehow is supposed to have a harem/multiple wives? Sigh. It reminds me of every bad Japanese harem anime I’ve ever seen where the MC either ends up with no girls or at most one of them, and wastes all the other relationship development and love interests. I sincerely hope that doesn’t happen here, but considering how bad William’s personality is right now I’m not going to hold my breath. This is a guy who friendzone’s a perfectly good wife candidate because he’s indecisive and is simping for his slave master and a girl he dated for two weeks - someone should tell him that in order to have a harem/multiple wives he has to love multiple women at the same time. I pray the romance and harem tags don’t end up being lies or only applying to everyone BUT the MC. *fingers crossed*.
