Chapter 9

Michael's P. O. V

After last night I think I need to speak to Pablo myself. It's Sunday, Pablo and his mom usually come over for lunch. And I can't have everything being so weird especially now. I got dressed and went over to that neighborhood again. I put on a hoodie and tipped off Tom to go take a walk.

I sat in the car staring at her house, but no one came out. I caught her on the streets in shorts, when did she change? And most of all why is she coming out of Pablo's house.

I was grateful she didn't see me.

"I can't believe it"I said and hit my hand against my steering wheel.

Pablo came out of his house, his hair ruffled, my grip on the steering wheel tightened. He had a bag in his hand, it must be her clothes! "Diana is really a whore...and she's turned Pablo into one"

Diana's P. O. V

"Score!"

"You like Old school music?"Pablo asked staring at me ogling over his mother's old albums.

He had had a bath and was smelling like fresh mangoes. I took a quick shower in a bathroom in the guest room.

"Duh! Can I borrow these? My mum left hers in our old house"I asked.

"Um.. I'll have to....I dunno...."he said trying to be suspenseful. "Okay"he said.

"I'd better go, my mum must be awake by now"I pointed out. Last night was not so bad.

"Alright"Pablo said and I left, after taking a glance at his huge house.

While walking back home I notice a car I swear I've never seen in this neighborhood parked close to my house. I walk past it, thinking to myself. Haven't I seen it somewhere?

I opened the door, mom was awake and I could see that she was worried. Lola was sitting beside her, something was amiss.

"Good morning mum...Lola"I said while coming inside, the house smelled like coffee.

The door opened and Pablo came inside, I forgot the bag of the albums.

"Hi dear, hi Pablo"mum said, "what is in that bag?"Lola asked, "some old albums Diana liked to borrow"he said.

"I didn't know you'd love that kind of music, I like your girl Mia"Lola said, but mom just nodded, seeming moody.

"How was the party?"Mom asked, "great"Pablo said and I nodded In affirmation.

"Diana helped to clean up"Pablo added, "did she?"mom asked eyeing me suspiciously.

"Thanks a million! I send the house keepers away once Pablo throws a party wouldn't want them getting in his way"Lola said.

House keepers? Sounds fancy...I wonder if I could ever afford one of those.

"Since the movie night was such a success, me and Mia are going out today, do you mind watching over Diana?"Lola asked.

My mom? Going out? On Sunday?

"Yeah hon, we need to go some place, could you keep her company?"Mum asked, I stared at her and folded my arms.

"I don't need a babysitter"I objected, "cute senorita"he said.

Both women exchanged glances at us both.

"I can watch over her Mrs Netwood"Pablo said.

After an hour mum had gotten ready to leave, she had on a yellow dress and let her hair down.

"Beautiful"I thought to myself. "Lock all the doors, don't let anyone in"mom said while Lola lead her out of the house.

"Yes mum I know the rules, just...take care"I said. "Love you"we both said at the same time.

"Te amo"Pablo said to his mum, she blew him a kiss and shut the door.

"So, what do you want us to do?"Pablo asked and slumped on the couch.

"Play video games?"I suggested, his eyes lit up. "You play?"he asked excitedly.

"Hell yes! Let's get set up"I said and left to get the X box.

"You keep on amazing me Senorita"Pablo said, I watched his mouth then looked at the pad in my hand.

There was this feeling I get whenever he calls me Senorita.

Tyler Mansion.

Author's P. O. V

"Lola are you sure this friend of yours can help me?"Mia asked seeming unsure of her rushed decision.

"Of course! He can't deny me anything"Lola boasted. Lola and Mia alighted the car, Mia had her gaze strictly on the premises of the place.

"Holy..."she left her statement hanging, "and I thought Lola lived In luxury"Mia mumbled to herself.

The inside was....Polished, Fancy, Expensive.... Calculated...Cold and Very Very Large. 

Lola left to go meet her friend, leaving her alone.

Mia saw a little Knick knack and held it, not realising it was made of real gold and gems, she almost let it drop out of her hand.

A maid walked past her, she quickly dropped it on the table and took an unnatural pose.

The maid shook her head and left mumbling something to herself.

Mia walked about, the floors seemed expensive, she heard some voices and followed them to the origin.

"Just eat something"a Male voice was basically yelling, it intrigued Mia so she stayed close to listen.

"You know how father is he will get angry if you don't have your food"the voice reminded.

"I don't want to"a feminine voice echoed, it sounded hurt and Mia went out to investigate.

"Hey are you okay girl?"Mia asked stepping closer to the scene.

"Who the hell are you? And what are you doing here?"Michael defensively asked.

"Sorry am here to...."Makela cut Mia off. "Just go away! Both of you! Leave me alone!" Makela yelled.

The boy opened his mouth to say something but Mia beat him to it.

"I know that 'Just go away' anywhere....You're going through a major heartbreak"Mia sharply said.

"Am guessing a long time crush, and judging from the dress you're wearing, this happened last night"Mia accurately said.

"How'd you do that?"Makela asked staring at Mia in a daze.

"Listen honey, boys are stupid...."Mia said, Michael's eyes almost bulged out of the socket. Makela chuckled and decided to listen to the woman.

"Am sure this heartbreaker doesn't even know the ride he's missing out, they are always so blind and clueless. It can either mean two things.

One, the universe doesn't want you two together, because there's someone a hundred times better out there for you. Two, it just isn't the perfect time for you two to be together yet, but you deserve much more better than this and I hope you know that"Mia said.

"Heartbreaks are tough, take it from me, I've been through a major heartbreak that am still trying to get over. The day he realizes how amazing you are, that's the day he'll value you even more"Mia said.

"It's just so... fucking hard"Makela said, "I honestly thought he liked me"Makela added.

Mia got to her level and stared at her beautiful blue eyes.

"I know"Mia said and placed her hand on Makela's.

"You can get through it..." Mia hanged her sentence, she didn't know the girls full name.

"Makela, she's right, fuck him! He's an ass!"Michael said.

"He isn't it's that bitch..."

"Hey! No one's an ass and a bitch, am not sure this boy even knows you like him. You can't blame an innocent girl for it, now can you?"

She pulled Mia and hugged her, Mia was startled for a second, but came over it and lightly stroked her head.

She hugged her back.

The warmth of the hug was quickly placed to an end by a strong pull, Mia landed on a hard chest, she looked above to see a pair of cold blue eyes staring down at her.

Mia blinked twice in shock, she and the stranger were both in close proximity to each other. The grip on her hand tightened, she could feel the stranger's breath on her face.

"Who are you and what is your purpose here?"

"Mia Netwood Your new Personal Assistant Sir".

Maybe it was something Mia said, but she gained herself a harsh stare from the man.

"Xander..."Lola's voice trailed from behind, she got to the scene and stood close to the children.

"What were you doing to my daughter?"Xander asked, his harsh voice sending chills down her spine.

"Speak up now or I'll involve the authorities for trespassing on private property..."Xander said but got cut off by Mia.

"Then I'll call the authorities for harassment"Mia sharply said staring into his icy blue eyes.
