A week and a half had passed so Livana had had some time to accept better the fact that she would soon be married to a complete stranger for whom she had no feelings at all. No, it was a lie, she wasn't accepting it any better. It was hard, she had difficulties falling asleep because she couldn't think about anything else than that.
And right now she was thinking about it more than ever. She was in a carriage with her parents and they were on their way to visit Nathaniel Blakeley in his estate. To say that Livana wasn't pleased by it would be an understatement. Apparently, Nathaniel wanted for Livana to see her future home before the wedding. It was thoughtful of him according to her parents. But Livana didn't want a new home.
