Chapter 87 Date with Charlotte

Hi guys, this is the next chapter.

==Charlotte's POV==

I had raised from my bed in the morning before going to the washroom and prepare myself for the date with Kanda.

Inside the bathroom, the shower had rained down on my body where the soap that had been put on myself had been washed away by those water. I quickly cleaned up after the shower and wearing my underwear first before my clothes that had been chose beforehand.

I'm coming out from the washroom and see that Sigmund had already woke up and he currently eating some meat from the can.

He looks at my direction and say: "Char, are you going to meet Ichijou Kanda right now?"

"Yes, Sigmund. Today, I have a date with him after I had asked him yesterday." Replied me before continue with my words: "I did not think that he will accept my request to go date with me as I only trying my luck when I had asked that to him."

Sigmund nods his little head and say: "That's good, Char. You need to spend your life sometimes with your friends though you didn't have any friends when you had arrived here last year. Your expression always looks intimidating for them to look at and your "Tyrant Rex" nickname also not helping you to make friends with others."

"Hmph...I don't need those pretentious people like them as my friends...you, Kanda, and Raishin are already enough for me." Commented me at Sigmund.

Sigmund sighs and say: "Fine if you had said that, Char. Anyway, please lookout yourself when going date with him today. We might be targeted by "Cannibal Candy" as from the past accidents, those victims had been connected with ourselves which I assumed that the culprit had wanted us to be their scapegoat."

I nod my head slightly and say: "I know, Sigmund. It's too suspicious when those victims that had been targeted were closely related to us.

After that, I had checked my attire one more time before going to meet Kanda outside my dormitory where I could see that he had waited for me already.

I can see that he is wearing a black shirt with crimson jeans and black shoes. His appearance can be seen as enchanting with his black hair where there is some crimson color at the tip of his hair. His detached expression did not make others to be separated from him but adding mysterious feeling to himself.

The females at my dormitory had surrounded him where they tried to chat with him which he just answered their question without changing his expression. However, those dormmates of mine did not mind it and still talking with him.

I slowly walking at his direction before say: "I'm sorry for being late, Kanda. Have you wait long for me?"

The conversation of those females had been stopped when they heard my voice where they looks at my direction with annoyed expression.

I just scoffed at them before closing up at Kanda and hugging his arms, ignoring those hateful looks from other female students.

I can see that Kanda had looked at my direction and smiling gently at me before he say: "I have just arrived, Char, and I haven't wait long here. Let's go then, I will walk you around for today."

I just smiling at him while others had lovestruck expression when they had seen his smile and wishing that smile are for them.

After that, we going our way out from the dormitory and leaving those frustrated students behind.

==POV End==

Kanda and Charlotte had went outside the academy where Kanda had shown Chatlotte around the city which he had visited with Lily.

Both of them had visited a garden where various types of flowers had been planted there and the scene at that place is so fascinating for them especially Charlotte as she never going out from the academy thought she had admitted to the academy last year.

After that, they going to the theme park where Kanda can see various expression on Charlotte's face as they had experienced almost all the attractions at the theme park. Kanda had seen scared Charlotte at the haunted house, nervous Charlotte at roller coaster, and mesmerised Charlotte when riding the Ferris Wheel.

They going to the fast food restaurant for their lunch where she for the first time had came to this food franchise as she usually eating at her house when she went home or the cafeteria when she at the academy.

Next, they had visited zoo where Charlotte have fun feeding some food at the animals or watching the show that had been done by the animals and its trainer. Charlotte looks at those performance seriously which Kanda laughs at her expression which she blushed when Kanda had mentioned to her. Charlotte can be seen almost buying all the merchandise at the store inside the zoo which had been stopped by Kanda where she only buying several merchandise and making a promise at Kanda to visit this place again.

Kanda had promised her to visit the zoo again which she happily had accepted his promise. Next, Kanda and Charlotte going to a cafe which called "Sanctuary" which is Kanda's cafe and Charlotte had informed him that this cafe is already famous to the residents in the city albeit it only had opened recently.

Charlotte had shocked expression as she enters the cafe where the cafe has good sensation inside there with small water fountain at the centre of the room while music had resounded the whole room. She can see that the customers that had been presented inside the cafe were satisfied with the services whole being served by the maids which she not found that as strange which she had found that at several restaurant at her hometown with her family.

Kanda brings Charlotte to one of the vacant tables at the cafe before calling the waiter which is Ann that will receive their order. Both of them had ordered some food accompanied with drinks to Ann which she nods understanding as she wrote the order.

After the meals that they had ordered had arrived, they start their eating where they sometimes open conversation between them which Charlotte had surprised expression when she heard that this cafe had been opened by him as she knew about this cafe's popularity that spread in this city.

"I had shocked in my life when you had said that this cafe had been owned by you, Kanda. I don't think that you have business in this city when you're still a student." Commented Charlotte after she put some of the food inside her mouth.

"Well, it's my subordinates that opened this cafe as I don't have time to operate the business and I had fully trusted them to manage this cafe." Replied Kanda.

"That's right but I'm still impressed that you could do that as I'm still in learning at the academy and you had managed a business while becoming top student in your batch." Replied Charlotte.

"Hahahaha...well, what can I do...I'm so awesome." Replied Kanda while boasting himself.

"Hmph, show off." Commented Charlotte before she also slightly laughs on that.

They continue their meal after that until all the meal had been finished by both of them. They are sipping some tea next where Kanda looks at Charlotte and say: "Char, why don't you tell me the reason, you want to become a Wiseman?"

Charlotte puts down her cup of tea on the table before looks at Kanda and say: "Do you know about my Belew's Family, Kanda?"

Kanda shakes his head on Charlotte's question although he had received the information about Charlotte's family from Raven.

"My Belew's Family had became the Puppeteer of the automaton for many generations since our first ancestor, 200 years ago. After that, our Puppeteer had declined its glory after the several ancestor after that which our family had turned to manage various businesses and I'm become the first Puppeteer after my parents and grandparents couldn't became a Puppeteer where they had trained myself to be the best and become the Wiseman to increase our family's influence." Explained Charlotte at Kanda.

Charlotte sighs for awhile before continues: "However, when I'm celebrating my 10th birthday at my house, Sigmund suddenly had became berserk and attacking a guest at my house when they had been invited to celebrate my birthday. The victim's family had blamed my family for the accident to he happened but that problem had been solved by me to be engaged with that family which is Felix's family. Although the case had been solved, other families still had avoided to meet me as they afraid that Sigmund might become berserk again. Our family's businesses also had been affected from that accident which my own family also had blamed me for that except for my grandfather. That's why I'm trying hard to be a Wiseman because of two reasons. First, I want to show all the people that I could control Sigmund from being berserk again. Second, I want to use Wiseman's influence to get back our family's glory to redeem for my past mistakes."

After finishing her explanation, Charlotte looks at Kanda's face and say: "What do you think, Kanda? Am I being selfish for wishing to be a Wiseman?"

Kanda looks at Charlotte's downcasted expression and say: "Do you really want to hear my opinion, Char?"

Kanda sees that Charlotte had nodded her head. He say: "My opinion is..DON'T GIVE A DAMN TO THEM AND DO WANT YOU LIKE"

Charlotte had shocked looks on her face as she listened to Kanda's words which Kanda continues his words: "As I said just now, I don't think that you're selfish, Char... if you had became the Wiseman later, you can do anything you want as that title had shown others that you have the capability to be the best. So, do what you want to do, Char, as I will support you."

Charlotte had cried a little from his words which she say: "Is it really fine for me to be selfish, Kanda? Is it really fine for to become the Wiseman?"

Kanda holds her hands and say: "Of course, Char. You can be selfish but I don't whether you could become Wiseman or not."

"Why you said that, Kanda? Don't you support me to be a Wiseman." Asked Charlotte while being confused.

"Of course, I'm support you, Char but you have the top 5 students in the academy to beat if you want to be a Wiseman and you also need to include myself as well. I will become the dark horse in the race to be a Wiseman so I will not hold back my punch anymore later." Replied Kanda.

Charlotte pulls back her hands before she harrumphed and say: "Previously, you said that you will support me but now, you want to stop me from becoming a Wiseman."

"Hahahaha...Well, I'm must ensure that the one who hold the title as Wiseman is much more strong compared to me. Except for Magnus, I don't think anyone could handle me and Lily." Kanda said to Charlotte.

"We will see about that later, Kanda. I will show you my strength later with Sigmund and taking that title from everyone." Commented Charlotte.

"Hahahaha...I will wait for that, Charlotte Belew." Replied Kanda at her.

After that, they ended their date where Charlotte had released all of her stored feeling inside her when talking with Kanda. Kanda escorted her back to the dormitory where the students at Charlotte's dormitory can see his presence with Charlotte.

Charlotte quickly kisses at his cheek before she ran off to her room which Kanda just chuckles at her ethics and going back to his room.

However, Kanda did not know that his interaction with Charlotte had been seen by a figure before its has disappeared into the dark outside of Kanda's view.
