Kaori

"So... yeah," Kaori said, as her parents listened to her describe her experience over the last few weeks. "That's what happened." 

They took the news of Kaori having been unconscious for over a month in about the same way that Kaori took it when she was informed. Their brows furrowed and they did a sort of double-take at each other, wondering if they'd really just heard that. Kaori wished she was joking. 

"But..." Her father said, before cutting himself off and sighing as he put his hands on his head. "Crazy." 

"I know," Kaori replied. "I know. But, I-I'm back," she shrugged, putting on a smile that she hoped would calm her parents down a little. "And, uh, well, it seems like I missed a lot. Considering that we're here and not in Jade, I mean." 

"Right," her father nodded. "I suppose we owe you an explanation, then."
