Mia's Moment of Weakness

My body couldn't move. 

It was stuck in place as if I was paralyzed completely. 

The only thing I could move was my two eyes which darted around, trying to find Miss Nell, who had suddenly disappeared. 

"Quite interesting… But you would've already died," A voice appeared from behind me. 

"H-How," I muttered as the feeling in my body suddenly returned to so I slashed behind me, but when I stopped to see that nobody was there, I noticed Miss Nell sitting on the edge of my blade. 

She was swinging her legs as if there wasn't a care in the world… and it was extremely embarrassing, so I pulled back, causing her to fall backward.

I then stepped forward with my right foot and unleashed a powerful blade of white light that tore through parts of the arena. 

"Foo," 

Somebody blew into my ear behind me, and just as I went to swing, a hand was placed on my shoulder, preventing me from fully completing my turn.
