System in Runeterra

After a long day of grinding ranked games, I made my way to bed and just when I closed my eyes a flash of light blinded me. Shook awake by the flash, I tried to open my eyes only to be blinded again, this time however by the sun.

That is odd, it should still be night. Confused, I looked around only to be shocked even more. I was not in my bed. The only thing I could see except for the lonely sun in the sky was desert. One huge desert and nothing else.

It was quite a beautiful sight in its own right, but there was just one problem, I wasn't on the ground, instead, I was floating far into the sky.

After the initial shock of being in the sky and kind of realizing that panicking wouldn't get me anywhere, I did the only thing I could think of at the time and that was waiting.

System? Runeterra? I've read enough Isekai and played enough League to know what this means. Though there is still something I need to know.

"Hey System, what's up with me floating in the air, can you help me down?"

Feeling a pain I never felt before I simply passed out.

Hours later I woke up in a cave hidden in the sand. Still, in pain, I continued lying on the ground. Lying on the ground I started checking up on my body and injuries. I quickly noticed that I was wearing plain brown robes. Should be happy that I at least got some clothes, and plain robes like this were a good choice of clothing for the area as well.

Looking outside of the cave I saw a sunset over the desert dunes. The system said I was in Runeterra, and looking at the desert it is pretty much guaranteed I'm in Shurima.

Talking about it I should check up on the system.

"Hey system, you there?"

A name and a new world. I think that calls for a new name.

Changing to a comfortable seating position I wanted to test something. Meditating in a fantasy world should help me avoid starving, though I'll probably need some energy source to absorb or cultivate for it to work.

Sources near me would be the earth and sand beneath me or the sun above me. Well a bit late for the sun but I can still go for the moon.

Let's see from which I can benefit now. The other one can wait.

Trying the moon first I get out of the cave and sat down under the moon. Trying to focus on my senses I remembered the descriptions used by the Lunari. The Lunari were a religious order worshipping the moon and its balance with the sun. Moonlight was understood as a product of both the sun and the moon. While it still had the capability to burn, the burning mainly came from its purification, it was also gentler and colder.

Meditating with this idea of moonlight I slowly noticed a new sensation coming from the light shining on me. The more I focused on it the stronger it became, when suddenly two sounds came from the notifications came from the system and a cold sensation swept across my body.

Seeing the prompts and feeling the moon I couldn't help but chuckle.

"The night is young, let us train"
