Chapter Six

The weird thing was that Harry has met Louis' family before Eleanor has. He has met her family before, but she hasn't met his.

He's only been friends with Harry for a few weeks and he's dated Eleanor for two years. Isn't it kind of weird that Harry met Louis' family before Eleanor did?

So he decided that he should take Eleanor to meet his family. He's only talked about her, resulting in them not believing him whenever he said he had a girlfriend. If he brought her, then that would prove he had one.

So when he went to school that morning, he didn't even stop to say hi to his friends. He straight up went to Eleanor's locker.

"Hey El," he said, giving her a peck on the lips. "I need to talk to you."

"What do you want?" Eleanor asked, sounding a bit concerned. "Are you breaking up with me?"

"No, no," Louis sounded a bit grossed out. Why would he want to break up with her? "I need you to meet my family."

Eleanor looked surprised. "I- I can't... I'm not ready."

"Come on," Louis frowned. "We've been going out for two years. I've already met your family; it's time for you to meet mine."

"But I've already met Lottie," Eleanor responded. "She's in my advanced art class."

"Yeah, I know," Louis sighed. "But she doesn't know you're my girlfriend. Hell, she doesn't even believe I have one."

"Alright, fine," Eleanor rolled her eyes. "I'll meet your family. But when?"

"Tonight," Louis affirmed. "I already told my mum."

"Okay," Eleanor nodded, extending her hand out. "Deal."

"Deal," Louis shook her hand and pecked her goodbye. He then walked away to his locker where Niall and Zayn were waiting for him with pissed looks on their faces.

"Why did you go to elevator's locker?" Niall asked, arms folded in front of his chest like a mother lecturing her child. "Especially before saying hello to us."

"Don't call her 'elevator'!" Louis exclaimed, angry as fuck.

"Alright," Niall put his hands into the air. "Sorry."

"Okay, but why did you go straight to her locker before saying hi to us?" Zayn asked more politely than Niall. "You always say hi to us beforehand."

"I had something important to talk to her about," Louis replied matter-of-factly.

"Did you break up with her?" Niall's eyes lit up.

"No!" Louis exclaimed. "I invited her over to my house to meet my family!"

Both Niall's and Zayn's eyes widened at that. Louis had never wanted to take Eleanor home to his family before, even with Zayn and Niall's pleads. So it was kind of a surprise that for the first time in the two years they've dated that Louis finally wants to take Eleanor home.

"Finally," Zayn and Niall said in unison.

The bell then rang, signaling the start of first period. Louis waved goodbye to Niall and Zayn as he walked away into his first-period class.

---

Later that day, Louis was standing right in front of Eleanor's door, waiting on her to get ready. She told him she wanted to look as beautiful as possible so that she could make a good impression on his family.

He rang the doorbell and patiently waited. He heard a lot of ruckus in the house until a girl who looked almost like Eleanor answered the door.

"Hey Lou," the girl said as she eyed him up and down. "Are you here to pick up El to go to your house?"

"Hi Tina," Louis answered. "Yeah. I really want her to meet my family."

Tina was Eleanor's older sister who was in her first year of uni. Tina was pretty chill with Louis since they share some of their same interests, it sometimes makes Eleanor kind of jealous.

But then again, Tina doesn't look like the type to give better blowjobs than Eleanor.

A few seconds later, Eleanor walked out the door with a flowered dress and curled hair. She immediately kissed Louis on the cheek and waved goodbye to her sister.

"Make sure she's home by ten!" Tina shouted out loud as Louis and Eleanor walked away together, hands linked with each other.

As Louis reached his home, he let go of Eleanor's hand to reach into his pocket and grab the keys to his house. He unlocked the door and welcomed Eleanor inside.

Once the two of them were inside, Louis' sisters ran up to Eleanor and greeted her.

"Hey," Lottie announced. "I know her. She's in my art class."

"I know she's in your art class," Louis mumbled.

"Then why didn't you tell me sooner that she was your girlfriend?" Lottie exclaimed. Surprised was an understatement to what she was feeling at the moment.

"Now, now, calm down, Lottie," Jay appeared. "Welcome to our home. I'm Johannah but you can call me Jay."

"I'm Eleanor," El responded.

After that, Eleanor was slowly introduced to each of Louis' siblings, even the younger twins. They all seemed to warm up to Eleanor.

Once dinner was over, Louis offered to take Eleanor home. He walked her home just in time before Tina could get pissed at him. Eleanor gave him a goodbye kiss on the lips.

Louis then walked back home. Once he got there, he was met with a crowd of siblings in the living room and his mum trying to control them.

"What is going on?" Louis yelled at the top of his lungs.

"We don't like your girlfriend!" Daisy screamed.

"She gives off bad vibes," Fizzy elaborated.

"She feels like the type to cheat," Phoebe stated.

Louis was surprised by the backlash he was receiving from his sisters about his girlfriend. Why didn't they like her? He's been dating her for two years!

But sometimes two years doesn't necessarily mean anything to the universe.

---

"You're overreacting."

"No, I'm not."

"Yes, you are."

Louis and Harry were arguing about if the judgment Louis' sisters gave Eleanor was fair. Louis didn't think it was, but Harry wanted him to get over it.

"Girls always have a point," Harry said. "Back in year 10, I was dating this girl named Kendall that gave my sister Gemma 'bad vibes'. A month later I found out she was cheating on me with her lab partner."

"And?" Louis argued. "Just because your girlfriend turned out to be a cheater does not mean Eleanor is the same."

"Speak for yourself," Harry sighed and left Louis alone with his thoughts.

Louis just stood there and contemplated what Harry said. What if she was like Kendall? What if she was a cheater? Phoebe did say she looked like she was the type to cheat.

Louis sighed and went up to Niall and Zayn.

"Hey lads," he said in a tone that showcased his sadness. "What are you two up to?"

"Oh, nothing," Niall responded. "Just discussing with Zayn about the reason you've been down today."

"How did you know I was down?" Louis asked. His friends have learned to read him like a book, so if he was even remotely sad, they knew.

"You weren't excited when you found out pizza was for lunch today," Zayn sounded concerned. "You always get excited for pizza."

It was true. Louis loved pizza. And it was true that he was so sad today to not notice that there was pizza for lunch that day.

Louis sighed. "Fine. I'll tell you guys."

And so, Louis explained every single detail about the night before to Niall and Zayn. Niall smiled from time to time while Zayn just stood there with a straight face.

In the end, Niall and Zayn just started laughing.

"What?" Louis asked offended. "Is my pain funny to you?"

Niall and Zayn shook their heads and went their separate ways, Zayn going up to Liam and Niall going to the locker room to change. Louis wanted to go watch Harry's football practice, so he went to the locker room with Niall.

Once inside, he found Harry and sat by him. Taylor was also there.

Louis couldn't help but stare at Harry while he changed. Harry looked hot in his uniform. He knew he shouldn't stare, so he quickly turned around; but no memory wiper was capable of erasing the image of Harry in his football uniform.

He looked around the locker room to see who was there. Niall was right next to him. Liam and Zayn were on the other side. Ashton, Calum, Luke and Michael were in the far corner. Other members of the football team were there, but Louis wasn't concerned about them.

Soon enough, everyone had changed into their uniform and they headed out. Louis accompanied Zayn and Taylor to the bleachers, where they would observe everyone play.

Louis noticed that Taylor was writing something in her notebook. He wondered what it was, but at the same time he didn't want to invade her privacy.

Unfortunately, Taylor caught him staring at her notebook.

"Sorry," Louis blushed red. "I didn't mean to invade your privacy, I just..."

"You can look," Taylor interrupted him with a smile. "It's just a couple of songs."

Louis took a peek at what she had written. He noticed some of the titles and read the lyrics. He realized that some of the lyrics had neutral pronouns and that they could be for anybody.

Then again, Taylor is bi. She could be writing for both genders because she likes both genders.

What was more surprising was that Louis resonated with some of the lyrics. He felt deep down in his soul that he could be able to sing this for both genders.

Holy shit. Maybe he wasn't straight at all.
