Chapter 12

After Aleanna won the tournament she and Greg were headed to their inn only to be stopped by a man wearing armor and had two guards with him. This was Loras Tyrell the oldest son and heir to Mace Tyrell.

"You there knight that was a valiant fight that you had but for you to be beaten by a woman was something unexpected," Said Loras Tyrell as he looked at Greg then at Aleanna "And it seems that you two are acquainted with each other"

"Yes she is my sister and we are traveling together through Westeros seeking adventure," Said Greg

"My name is Loras Tyrell son of Mace Tyrell and if it is Adventure you seek well I have a proposal for you. I want both of you to serve me and I will promise you all the adventure that you want" Said Loras Tyrell as he wanted them to join him

Greg sighed at this statement since he predicted this would happen since although Loras was known to have a good personality he had a fault which was the fact that he was a spoiled nobles son and acted the part and that's why he was trying to get back to the inn but it seems that he was caught before he could "Although an intriguing offer my lord I will have to refuse since I am not interested in serving anyone right now and just want to live a carefree life" Said Greg obviously lying since he had greater ambitions than serving some lords son.

"Most people would jump at the chance to serve under me and those that don't are fools since serving a lord come with great benefits such as fame, women, money and add your adventuring to that you would only benefit from this" Said Loras since he was confused as to why Greg refused his offer.

"Those are things that I don't want right now that's why I refused you," Said Greg

Loras Tyrell looked at Greg weirdly since most people would be honored to serve a lord but Greg refused to but Loras wasn't angry since he only wanted Greg to join because his sister who was both beautiful and strong would also join but there were many women other women in the land so he didn't care that much though he was a little angry at the fact that his offer was refused but he wouldn't force Greg.

"I see well it is your decision so I will leave for now but remember that if you ever change your mind you can find me in HighGarden and tell them that I called for you," Said Loras since he was sure that in the future Greg would change his mind

Loras had left leaving Greg and Aleanna since he wanted to go back to the castle while Greg and Aleanna had gone back to the Inn and slept since they both were tired from the tournament.

In the morning Greg was served breakfast by the Inn then after breakfast, he had looked at his stats

Looking at his stats most people would wonder why he lost to Aleanna seeing how he had some powerful stats well the reason was he had disabled his skill Quick reflexes to test how his natural reflexes were and it seems that they were awful since he lost.

Greg had disabled the skill so that he can see how a person who came from an advanced society reflex speed would be compared to somebody from medieval times and he was shown during his fight with Aleanna. He didn't disable it for the other fights since he wanted to compare the effects of the skill on his combat performance.

After looking at his skills Greg had stayed in Ashford for a few weeks then he traveled to other cities participating in tournaments and such while making a name for himself. He was also establishing his spy network across most of Westeros so that he could get information on what was happening in the background such as assassinations, secret plots, etc.

All of this transpired over a course of 3 months and now Greg was starting to build his Kingdom so first, he was going to meet with Daenerys Targaryen so that he can get her on his side then he will focus on building his army up and eventually take over one of the free cities.

His plan was to take Lorath which was the weakest and least known of the free cities and it was on an island that was perfect for defending and Greg could build a big Navy. Though it would probably be hard since Lorath is secretly influenced by Braavos which was the closest of the free cities to Lorath and was also the Most Powerful within the free cities but Greg had a plan for that.

Once Daenerys agrees to come with him he will take over Lorath and begin his path to making his Empire.
