Chapter 7

"Man I am nervous." says Ahri as she shakes, trying hard to fight back tears. Thanks to the support that Ahri has been getting following revelations about her relationship with the rest of KDA, her old music including those involving her former bands are now enjoying a lot of charting success years later with many clamoring for both bands to perform again.

The major issue is that Ahri is in both bands so they came to a decision; they would all perform together this time around as one single group now known as The Muses. A lot of their old songs got re-arranged to fit everyone and they all started practicing again for the first time in years.

The girls had done some fan meetings, variety show appearances and interviews to get themselves out there and so far the response has been mostly positive which might explain Ahri's current predicament.

Katarina reaches for Ahri and hugs her. "Don't worry. We will all help you out in this. We are all in this together." she says. Leona gently rubs the fox's back. "She is right Ahri. We are one big happy family now." she says

Taliyah, Morgana and Nami all hug Ahri. "We will cross that bridge but for now the show must go on." says Sona who ruffles Ahri's hair, earning a little giggle from the fox. The other girls join in and get into a group hug.

Meanwhile, Eren and the others gathered at Aogiri's dorm getting ready to watch the performance on Music Camp. Since Aogiri had wrapped up promotions, they were not allowed in the studio so they had to support from outside. "I just can't wait!! Can this performance start already?!! I wanna see how these queens will slay!!" says Armin.

"I know right?!" says Jean with a chuckle. Eren invited the rest of the AOT cast, My Hero Academia cast and other people they knew to watch the performance.

Like an hour later, the girls finally get into the studio for their interview. All of them were wearing black pant suits. "Damn!! They all look amazing!!" says Connie. Eren grins. That's my Queen.

"1,2,3.....We are family!! Hello We are the Muses!!" they all say as they take a bow. "Ah please introduce yourselves to our viewers." says the hostess. "Hi I am Katarina. You can call me Kat." says Katarina. "Hi I am Leona." says Leona.

"Hi I am Nami." says Nami. "Hi there. I'm Morgana" says Morgana, giving a little peace sign. "I am Taliyah." says Taliyah. "Yo, I am Quinn." says Quinn. "Howdie folks, I am Vayne." says Vayne. "Hi!! I am Ahri." says Ahri as she waves at the camera. "Yo, it's da rapper Diana." says Diana with a little wink, earning laughs from everyone.

"Diana is so cool." says Dawn as she and the Titans watch the show. "I like how they introduced themselves." says Hank.

"So this comeback you are making, are you guys nervous?" the host asked. They all stare at each other and nodded. "We would be lying if we said we weren't because this is the first time we have ever performed together in years. So much has changed since then so it kind of confuses us in a way as we all have to get into a perfect rhythm since we are talking about two seperate groups here." says Vayne.

"It's true. It was confusing at first but as time went on, we came to realize that hey we are not that different from each other." says Diana. "We all share similar tastes in music and style so that kind of helped us bond better and also we share a common thread." says Morgana, pointing at Ahri who blushes and hides her face with her tails, something that everyone knows her for. "Aww." says Kory. Dick chuckles. "She always does that when she is nervous or when she blushes."

"So any key dance steps?" Ahri then turns to Taliyah. "Tali I think you should do it." she says. Tali nods and steps forward and does the wave dance that was shown in the music video. The other girls join in and sing the song for the dance.

Immediately after that, they head to the stage. "Wow!! They look like an actual goddesses!!" says Cassie Sandsmark as she watches it. Diana smiles. "And to think they said they were nervous earlier on." she says.

When the music comes on, the girls immediately transform from timid girls to badass women, Ahri in particular. "Woohhh!! Go girls!!" Sasha cheers. The others also cheer them on too.

The minute they begin to start dancing, jaws begin to drop. Despite the fact that they are technically two separate groups, they were acting like a single team with great synchronization, earning praise for their choreographer.

Donna gets up and dances along to the song with Roy and Wally joining in. "The song is quite catchy." says Dawn. "Heard Ahri and Katarina wrote it." says Kory.

Their live vocals also stun the world as all of them can sing pretty well as many expected a similar case like KDA where like one or two members would not sing. KDA themselves were shocked and could barely speak. They expected Ahri and her new group to flop badly. The opposite is happening. Besides the natural chemistry they have, they clearly are a lot more talented than people gave them credit for plus their song is good.

Alexander, Eren's father watches the performance and is greatly impressed. He had seen Ahri onstage before and noted how unhappy she was before but now, she appears to be a lot more happier and at peace. Plus the fact that these girls nailed the choreography within a month makes it all the more impressive. "These girls deserve all the attention they are getting now. They worked for it."

The performance goes viral immediately raking in thousands of views with many expressing delight that all of them were promoting together as a group with some wishing that they and Aogiri do a performance together.

The best part was Ahri's special dance break towards the end of the song. This was the part she was most worried about for obvious reasons. But then she remembered Eren's advice: Block out all other noise, and listen to the music and immerse yourself in it as though it is only you in the world.

She took that advice to heart and poured her soul into the performance, ignoring whatever anyone would think or say about her. Eren notices this and smiles proudly. Kai'Sa's jaw drops as she did not expect Ahri would be that good at dancing. The fact she incorporated some ballet and contemporary dance moves made it even more insane.

Once they ended their performance, they get a standing ovation from the entire studio. The girls head backstage and hug each other. "We did it!!" says Nami. Ahri smiles, relieved that they managed to get through the performance together. "I am so happy." Tears of joy begins to spill down her eyes. "Aww!!" The other girls hug and comfort Ahri.

"Looks like we got a scoop Lois." says Clark. Lois laughs. "I have actually started taking some notes. We are going to book an interview with these lovely girls."

There was only one person that was not impressed by this group. Barbara Gordon stares at the TV screen with a blank expression on her face. "What is so special about them? Especially that Ahri? I bet those girls used auto tune and lipsynced plus their dancing is not that co-ordianted. Also why did Ahri truly leave KDA?"
