This is the first a fictional character has angered to such an extent like he's trying his best leave home alone
Nah. I'm done. I don't like him being so submissive. I mean, he is literally a highschooler and he retained his memories but even after he got bullied and literally abused by a kid, he never even thought of retaliating. I hate it. He's acting like an M even in the next chapter. This type of novel is not for me. It only left a bad taste in my mouth. So disappointed.
Not really saying anything that hasnât already been said. The ML at this point is probably way too submissive to a 7 year old, especially since itâs mentioned that heâs at high school age. I could see maybe if he was a more submissive/introverted high schooler, but the pre-isekai details are extremely slim. It seems like at this point there was no reason for the ML to be an isekai, as thereâs been no mention of that fact besides being in an otome game environment (through its quite early in the story). I wonder if it wouldâve made more sense to remove the isekai portion and just leave him as a 7 year old, since that would make this submissive characterization more justified.
It seems that chapter 6 is a breaking point for some readers, mainly because of Cranberry's behaviour towards Zombie. The only thing I can say without spoiling the story too much is: Different people have different ways of coping with being abused. Things do get better between the two. If that was the thing bugging you, you might want to try reading even a chapter or two more, and see for yourself ;)
