Really stops the readers from being too invested in reading this novel when you start asking to unlock the next chapter so early on. Just makes us skim through this because we don't have that much impression and interest and then move onto the next novel.

it's a pity for the author or whoever it is to lure money for a mere novel instead of thanking readers to read the novel and acknowledge his efforts.
