He watched me with hungry eyes as I moved closer to him, moving around to the other side of the table looking down at the map that lay on it. I heard him shift, assuming that Mandrake had turned around to face me. I ran my fingers over the area that the other camp was marked on the map.
“That looks like a two-day trip” I noted, walking my fingers over to Mandrakes camp. He let out a huff, standing up straight
“You would be correct,” he said with his hands balled in fists on the table again
“Are you sure you can get enough training done in two days?” I asked now looking up at him he looked me dead in the eye,
“two days was enough for my dead wife, I am sure it will be more than enough for you,” he said in a low voice that I barely caught. I leaned down on the table, leaning on my elbows as I read the other markings on the map.
