I'm catching a lot of emotions from this first chapter and I don't know what to do with them. It's starts off confusing since it jumps about but like...the emotion I'm feeling.

a sad and painful start to a story. Though I have to agree that it is a bit confusing because of the sudden changes in pov, this is still a great start.

What a beautiful way to open the story, throught confusing, it was still a nice exposition. I felt a bit lost tho, since the pov keep changing and wasn't sure if it was Julia, Mat, or just the narrator. I was like usser mcross says with their gif.

It can be confusing if you have never delt with the topics before, but over all it is very good. I find that this my be one of my favorites.

Really introspective. I do like the way things begin, as said, not with a happy or fairy-tale veiled over it, but with a stark and dark reality that calls for your attention. At first, I truly thought Mathew was another person, but, it did catch me by surprise by the end of the chapter that it was actually the person giving the narrative. Overall, the perspective is interesting, insightful. Written well, beautiful descriptions are given too, especially the garden :)

This is godman amazing. It's so ffffffffffffffffreaking good. But the only thing I don't like that much is that it is in the second person and I know that you have a reason to do it in the second person, but I personally don't like the second person.

This is really hard for me to read. It stirs up emotions and pokes at sore spots not fully healed .

I'm analysing my thoughts. Such a thoughtful piece of message conveyed. I don't know how to describe my feel, I feel emotional and saddened. You must have been through a lot author, I could feel those in your words.

Well written. It evokes deep emotions that we don't want to face. it forces one to face the hidden truths of human beings It just makes one get emotional.

this story is so strange. it was kinda confusing, but I also really enjoyed it. I don't usually find stories like this, so it's a nice change of pace. I'll be looking out for more projects the author has.

Personally, I loved the introduction of all the characters, we get a great idea of what each of them is like, and small details such as the one regarding the mother in the story gives me insight into the uneasiness of each character's inner psyche. The changing POVs makes it slightly confusing, and it takes a bit to realise the rotations. Loved the small email/message at the start, it gives us perspective on the way Julia perceives her relationships, and leaves me wondering on how she develops into this mindset or what led to that moment.

This was so heartfelt. My heart felt like it was breaking every two seconds. I can totally relate to this. For the first time, I saw what it meant to have depression. It was like, I once felt it, but I couldn't explain the feeling. But now I do. It's exactly this.

Wow, I didn’t know I could feel so many emotions just reading the first chapter, I am still trying to calm down from them. Man I wish I could write as good as you!! Kudos!!
