"Hey… Have you seen someone shady entering this place?" the burly man wearing a tank top asked with suspicious eyes.

"Umn… No… I'm the only one here." I said while trying to show an innocent face.

"Hahaha… Your face is… Haha… Your face is dirty…" the burly man suddenly chuckled.

I felt the worry in my heart flew away right at this moment. This is because this burly man is someone with a bird brain. He is an idiot. But for once I am glad that he is one.

I quickly wipe my face with the towel but left a beard and a goatee-like grease on my face changed my upper t-shirt, and then put on an apron.

I entered the kitchen and saw many people busily going to and fro.

I carefully clean the table while listening to the conversation of the people inside the room.

"The miss is in the secret place in the kitchen. All of you must be vigilant. We must quickly go out once that person arrives." One of the men said while his arm is around a mature-looking woman with scant clothes.

"Yes, I heard that the person that we are going to kill is very strong…"

"I saw the news. He killed Lin Ting. That place is filled with Lin Ting's men. Plus there are some Hunters amongst those who died. We should be careful then…"

"Haha… You worry too much. Lin Ting's men are weak. In fact, in the syndicate, he has the weakest force. And now that his forces were eliminated just like that, it just shows how weak he really is…"

Meanwhile, a person stood in front of the table while holding a toothpick in his hand.

That person actually caught one of the toothpicks I flung.

It was a man with long flowing hair tied in a ponytail. In one of his hands is a short sword, and he is wearing a robe that made him look like some Chinese cultivator in the movies.

His eyes immediately roam the surrounding people.

As if trying to find who the culprit is. Everyone on the 2nd floor is also looking around them. The few servers also look at each other and I was one of them.

I shrugged my shoulder gesturing that I did not know what is happening.

Suddenly one of the manager-looking guys glared at us.

"What are dwindling here!" he glared angrily at us.

I did not hesitate to turn around and walk down the stairs. When that guy saw us moving, he squinted his eyes and looks at us with suspicion.

I could see his reaction in the corner of my eyes, but I just laughed inside my heart. I knew that he could not find any trace of my Qi on those toothpicks.

I already did my part; her survival is on her own now.

When I enter the kitchen with the group of waiters beside me, we then walk to the counter where we carefully put the dishes on the large sink.
