He showed this to the boss of the club, and instead of them dealing with Xiao Rin, they threatened him to not breathe a word of it.

He began working with the Black Serpent Gang and he was able to enter their rank because of his unique ability to resist all forms of ability. Every type of ability that is sent to attack him would turn useless upon touching his body.

He became too cocky for his own rights that one day, he encountered a guy who is good with knives. And this accident taught him a painful lesson and a big ugly scar on his face is the proof of that.

He was demoted to the Blue Serpent Gang after that, but with his ability, he gained the recognition of Lin Ting and became one of his girl collectors.

After working with the Blue Serpent gang, he did not expect that one day he would see Xiao Rin once again. He was excited but he dare not make a move because she seems to have someone beside her. That person was so strong that he even killed the three heads of the Blue Serpent Gang. And this made Wan Feng feel scared of that person.

He decided to follow the two in secret using his learned tracking skill.

Soon he saw them camping inside a three-story building. He needs to bid his time and let that young man leave. Once he is gone it would be easy for him to nab her.

With his strong ability right now, he knew that her powers would not work on him anymore.

And so he waited and waited until he suddenly saw some movements, but those movements did not come from the 3 story building where Xiao Rin is. Instead, it came from the streets where he saw many armed men along with people that he did not want to see… the Hunters.

"Damn it! How come the Hunters are able to spot us?" he muttered with a frown.

He did not know how these Hunters work, but one thing is for sure though. It is said that no one can escape the Hunters. They would surely catch their targets no matter where they would hide. Even in the forest where it is the current turf of those dangerous beasts, the Hunters are still able to find their prey.

As he watches the group of men approach a deep frown appears on his scarred face.

"Hmm… They are not hunting those two… Wait a minute… Don't tell me." Wan Fang suddenly takes out his phone and saw it blinking.

He pressed a key and he immediately saw the message. It was sent to him by his friend within the Black Serpent gang, a friend who owes his life to him. There is only one word on that message… "Run!"

With a pale face, Wan Fang immediately takes out his gear and puts it on as quickly as he could. He needed the Kevlar to at least protect himself from the bullets. He is not worried about any powers, what he worries about is the hot and cold weapons of his enemies.

As he gears up a few armed men have already crossed the streets and enters the building he is hiding.

"Damn you, people!" he cursed himself as he immediately throws down any electronic device he has in his body.

He then crossed the room and hid his presence in the other room. But how could he escape the people chasing after him? Though it is already nighttime, some of them are actually wearing thermal goggles.

Bratatat!

Suddenly rapid gunshots were fired and Wan Fang immediately jumps to the ground trying to dodge the rain of bullets.

At first, he was confused as he ran across the room and began using the terrain to his advantage. However, some of the armed soldiers are shooting from the outside.

"Shit!" he cursed as everything around him is starting to be turned into ruins.

He continuously ran while dodging the bullets and soon he arrived near the room at the end of the corridor.

His left arm is bleeding as a trace of a bullet wound could be seen on it. Meanwhile, he is already panting heavily.

Before he knew it, he suddenly heard some footsteps from the emergency stairs.

"You have done well in dodging their barrage of attacks. I guess the rumor is true that you are able to predict bullets, and you also have a fast reflex. It's a shame that did not end up being a Hunter…" a tall and lanky-looking man said while he appears in the corridor.

Behind him follows two more men wearing black overcoats.

"Merciless, and the Twin Minotaurs…" Wan Fang muttered as horror could be seen in his eyes.

He knew of the reputation of those three and knew who they work for.

"I… I have not neglected my duty towards Master Lin Ting. I am going to get the quota for the women…" Wan Fang said with panic.

"Haha… Scarface Wan Fang… Did you think we are here because of that? Well, partially… But no… We have received an order from Master Lin himself to get rid of you… We cannot let you fall in the hands of the enemy, you knew too much about Master Lin Ting…" the tall and lanky-looking man said with a chuckled.

His words sent shivers running down the spine of Wan Fang. How could he know that he would be executed because of what he knew about Lin Ting? He did not know the situation right now, but he knew that his life in danger.

He has already emptied the clip of his gun and what is left on him is a knife. But what could a knife do against a firefight? For others, it is already a helpless situation, but for him, he still has a chance.

Wan Fang did not hesitate to prepare himself for a battle.
