Break Free (Poem)
Here is this
Here is that
Here is this
Here is that
Go go go
And never say no
Molded in goodness
Burned by its force
Taught wonderfully
Torched by the course
Of the bondage
Of the fear
Of the heavy, living debt that is clear
Think you're solid
But you're crumbling
Feel so swift
Yet you're stumbling
The worst of it is incoming
The price is sacrifice
He filled the part
And stood like steady, frozen ice
Through Him we are free
Through Him we can see
How He is righteous
Oh so righteous
The bridge to save us from enduring hot crisis
The Law (as described in the book of Galatians and a few book before it) helps to guide us steadily. However, we cannot live by it fully because we are NOT perfect and cannot right our wrongs alone. It is through Jesus Christ that we can be free and saved. He sacrificed Himself willingly and lovingly for our sake. And because He did so, we have the chance to break away from the sinful bondage that the devil and man have captured us in. Question is: are we just as willing to do so?
