Thanks for the chapter and good luck on your exam. At the moment I think Mc is too young for a love interest. I understand that his mind is that of a grown man, but his body is still young. Maybe when he is 14 years old. There is only one hitch in Shikaku's plans. Mc is a prince, why should he agree to cover up the incompetence of the Hokage? Shikaku is practically ordering the prince not to say anything about the Hokage's incompetence and how does he think the Fire Daymio will react when he finds out? They can't lie to the Daymio, not to the prince who knows the truth. Konoha will tell everyone that the Hokage saved the prince's life and people would expect an award from the Daymio and the Daymio should also award them? Shikaku is setting too dangerous a precedent. it is as if he is suddenly forgetting that Mc is not a ninja but a prince. If I were in Daymio's shoes I would be very pissed off about the situation. The Hokage's incompetence almost got my son killed and now should I reward him rather than force him to give up that hat? Why should I submit to this ninja subterfuge?
