Rainbow Fairy? Never heard of it.

They arrived back at the Yuhna region and went to the Huayan Trading Company. Long Chen went inside to give treasures to Zheng Wenlong, his friend from the lower realms. Cross followed him and used Long Chen's prestige to find the best places for his list.

Cross' list was long. Basically it was like this;

Zephyr- Wind

Amelia- Assassination

Lily- Body cultivation

Pandora- Ice

Hong'er- Sword

Artemis- Forging

Jie Yuan- Music

Feng Xue'er- Fire/Alchemy

Jasmine- Wind/Assassination

Die Wu- Flower

Luo Ning- Blood/Sword

Ying'er- Metal

Luna- Soul/Formations

Cross got a long list of places all of the Immortal World. He sucked in a breath of air at the regions and names. He had a lot of work ahead of him, he thanked the Company before leaving with Long Chen, who got information about the rainbow flame appearing.

The group traveled to the Rainbow Region. They were stopped and Long Chen beat them up, apparently people started saying that Long Chen was a Netherworld Ghost Seed. These people really have nothing better to do?

Cross shook his head and Long Chen said "Take me to the Blood Killing Hall in this region." They appeared over a magnificent building. Cross stepped out and threw a small orange ball into the formation, suddenly there were shrill screams and screeches. Long Chen threw a fire lotus into the formation and it exploded into flames, Cross' eyes turned and the fire turned black, lighting people up instantly.

Long Chen too his bone knife and cut the head off of Enpuda's statue, Cross absorbed the power of faith and took it for his own before leaving. Long Chen threw the head to the men who brought them there and said "Fill it with shit, make it a cesspool and then escape the region."

The men were happy to be rid of Long Chen and did what he said before fleeing. Another place was rid of Enpuda's influence!

They went to a square and lined up, Cross didn't take a flower and looked at the flowers with a frown. Long Chen smiled and they waited in line, suddenly someo0ne came over and said "You dare worship the rainbow fairy!?" Long Chen grabbed him and said "You dare to blaspheme the Rainbow fairy!?" before beating the shit out of him.

Several strong Immortal Kings appeared and Long Chen flipped the script becoming the embodiment of justice, defending the honor of the Rainbow Fairy. A ton of people supported him and the Immortal Kings were helpless, they found out he was Long Chen and the Dean of the 7th Branch Academy and told him there was a special place to worship the Rainbow fairy but Long Chen said that he was the same as everybody else, there was no need for a shortcut.

The Immortal Kings were happy and praised him, Cross looked at the Immortal Kings with a frown, hesitating to speak, unsure of what to do at the moment. An Immortal King said "Is there something wrong, little friend?"

Cross frowned and asked "To enter the city... Do you have to worship the Rainbow Fairy?" the air chilled and the Immortal Kings said coldly "What does that mean?" Cross said flatly "I'm not worshipping anyone."

Everybody glared at Cross, who added "You can worship who you like, but I think forcing people to worship whoever you worship is not very good. For example, I have no gratitude for the Rainbow fairy, if I worship her wouldn't that be an even bigger insult than not worshipping at all?"

Everybody was suddenly startled, this.. this seemed to be the case! The Immortal Kings was speechless and Cross said "I just want to go inside the city, but if you have to worship someone else to get in, then forget about it. If the Rainbow Fairy really died to save the Region then forcing everyone to worship her is going against what she fought for, no? Worship if you like, only then will you have true gratitude."

Cross continued "Like that guy that just got beaten, he worships the Rainbow Fairy all the time yes? If he was truly worshiping with gratitude then even if the person who killed his parents was standing next to him, he wouldn't even let out a single fart. This kind of false gratitude is a mockery to the Rainbow Fairy herself. I worship myself, to me, I am King, I am God. Worshipping anybody else is unacceptable."

Everybody had their mouths open wide, one guy started clapping saying "Well fucking said!" several other people joined in and Cross looked at the crowd saying "Though still, the dead has to be respected. I may not worship the Rainbow Fairy and fell nothing towards her and her sacrifice but for the sake of the people who truly worship her and her spirit in Heaven, the rules regarding being peaceful should be followed."

The crowd was a bit embarrassed and calmed down, but everyone had smiles feeling this was very logical. Cross turned to the Immortal Kings and said "May I go inside the City?" the Immortal Kings muttered to each other before an old man who seemed to be the leader said "Seems like we have been tarnishing the Rainbow Fairy's efforts and meaning for a long time. The city will be open to everyone regardless of worshipping the Rainbow Fairy, we would like to express that the rules regarding peace around the statue must be followed!"

Cross stepped out of line and went to sit by the side, waiting for long Chen. Several other people also left the line and walked into the city, a good chunk of the line dispersed and the Immortal Kings' faces fell.

Cross said to them "Look at the statue." they looked over and it was slightly brighter than before! As if it was happier now. The Immortal Kings were stunned and thanked Cross profusely for showing them the right path. Cross just said "As time passes, every generation loses the knowledge of the last and becomes arrogant. There may come a time where the Rainbow Fairy isn't worshiped anymore, hopefully at that time you won't go crazy. This is how the world works."

He shook his head and drank from his wine gourd, pouring 6 cups for the old men as he continued "Which person doesn't have any arrogance and confidence in themselves? For some people, the past is just that, the past. They disdain the stories and legends, regarding them as fairytales. These people, even if you beat them to death, they will never show true gratitude. It's better to live and let live, than to force someone to your ideologies."

The 6 Old men were awed and took the wine respectfully, Cross smiled and said "So polite? Just drink, jeez." as he drank from the gourd directly, the old men were embarrassed and drank their cups empty.

Cross snapped his head in a certain direction and looked at a man, the entire man disappeared and Cross caught him. He disappeared himself and charged at the confused man, cutting his arms and legs off, crippling his cultivation and resting the scythe on his neck.

His killing intent was massive and poured directly onto the man as Cross seethed "Nine Hell Hunter!" the man was trembling in fear, he was finished. He didn't even have a chance! Cross took a breath and put the scythe away before stealing everything the Nine Hell Hunter owned and searing his wounds, completely crippling his body in the process, as well as copying his cultivation method.

Cross grabbed him by the hair and reappeared outside. Everybody was stunned and the reappearance of the Nine Hell Hunter and Cross, but they were more frightened by the Nine Hell Hunter's appearance at the moment.

He had dead eyes without any arms and legs, he felt like a normal person as well, clearly this man has been crippled. Cross propped him up on the bench and crossed his legs, waiting for Long Chen to be finished.

The Nine Hell Hunter was trembling in fear as he said "Wha-" Cross covered his mouth and burned his lips together as he said softly "You have to be quiet here, you know? Your life isn't ending anytime soon, after all, you need to be thoroughly tortured for a long time!"

The surrounding people turned white and the Nine Hell Hunter's lips were seared shut he could only cry and look at the people with pleading eyes for help. Everybody ignored him, first of all nobody wanted to provoke Cross, secondly, they wouldn't help a Nine Hell Hunter to begin with. He was fucked, completely fucked.

Cross drank from his gourd in a much better mood. He didn't even spill a single drop of blood in front of the statue. not that he cared, but still. People's opinion of him increased because of his actions.

Long Chen worshipped the statue and paused for a split second. Cross looked at the statue meaningfully, he statue flashed in response and Long Chen walked over with the group. He looked at the Nine Hell Hunter and grinned maliciously, Cross smiled and they left the square into the city, dragging the crippled hunter with them.

They arrived at the Residence and Long Chen immediately dragged the Crippled hunter into a room before closing the door with a cruel smile. Cross laid down on the ground and fell asleep instantly, the rest were standing there unsure of what to do.

A few days later

They were attracted to a battle outside. Long Chen had tortured and killed the Nine Hell Hunter but couldn't get the location of their base. Cross and Long Chen watched a giant golden guy fight a Nine Hell Hunter. Cross took out his scythe and disappeared into the wind.

The Nine Hell Hunter suddenly fully appeared and his head fell off his body. Cross appeared in the void and robbed the Nine Hell Hunter's corpse before sighing "This guy has a lock on his memories too!" the Golden man looked at Long Chen and said "I want the Dragon Blood on you."

Long Chen had a face full of sarcasm as he said "I would be worrying about myself if I were you, I know a guy who really likes strange beast blood." Cross appeared on the golden man's back with the scythe at his neck as he whispered greedily "It's me~" before slicing his head clean off and taking the entire corpse. He chuckled and licked his lips looking at the rest of the people, who started to tremble in fear.

Cross chuckled eerily and said "I want to see who has big enough guts to chase after the Rainbow Flame. My scythe can't endure the thirst~ Whoever goes after it will die, good, evil, retarded, all walks of life are welcomed under my blade~"

Some people packed up and left directly, others didn't believe it and said. Unfortunately they didn't even know that Daddy Cross doesn't speak empty threats.

Cross noticed that when he killed recently his cultivation foundation has been getting stronger and stronger. The little Runes in his body were multiplying and appearing everywhere, the Abyss runes were becoming more and more frequent in every group of 5 there will be 1 Abyss Rune and there were countless Runes. The amount of other types of Runes didn't decrease but Increased explosively! As if it was competing with the Abyss runes.

The Runes were getting slightly bigger as well but they were also tightly packed together and everywhere. He didn't know how much longer he was going to have to absorb energy for but he felt like he was far from finished, not to mention he also had a 10th Level where a change happened.

He was completely in the dark about the changes that went on in his body at the 10th level but he felt it must be something spectacular right?

The days passed and soon there was a Rainbow light in the Rainbow Region. Cross flew after it, chopping people who were going in the same direction as him. He pursed his lips, seems like these people thought he was bluffing. All these different races, not of them were good people. They needed to be educated on proper behavior in front of this King!
