"I hadn't come here for almost three years. This house is still the same as usual."

A high-pitched voice resonated from the hallway alongside the typical noise of high heels clacking against the floor. As the sound gradually became louder, all eyes aimed at the wide-open office door in anticipation of the approaching figure.

Appearing in a black dress, a tall woman walked into the room. Her confident smile bloomed on her crimson lips, matching her smokey eye makeup. Her long and wavy hair fell beautifully through her shoulders, swaying this way and that as she moved.

I eyed the lady in front of me, nonjudgmental yet curious, mostly about her identity. I wanted to ask her, but I wasn't in the position to do something as such - there was only someone I could ask.

I turned my eyes to Marvel. He was still sitting on the edge of the desk, looking straight at the woman with, surprisingly, a visible annoyance.
